You are one of the person than never showed interest on this thread. Really. FSCS WILL ANTICIPATE YOU MONEY THAN OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE WITH KPMG PROCESS. HAVE YOU UNDERSTOOD??? no one here are saying fscs or etx will change timescale of the process...DON'T SAY EVERYTIME THINGS WITHOUT READ ANYTHING. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEAN ANTICIPATE??? FSCS will simply not wait the process and give us a payment and THEY WILL WAIT for the process after our payments by them.

FSCS is who ultimately pay. You understand that means "last resort"? This being so, it makes no sense to anticipate anything, since it is not their function.

I have a similar situation, I had open trades on 15-16 Jan but NOT CHF trades. Hence, my open trades on that day shut down automatically and caused me losses. I have disputed Alpari since they were not offering me my losses back (again, non-CHF trades). Did you also have any losses caused due to the automatic closing?

Does anyone think that Alpari will pay back any losses caused in non-CHF trades?

Apparently, ETX is expecting the funds to be released in 4 to 6 weeks. I got that from the relationship manager assigned to me:

"We are still waiting an update from the Alpari administrators, the timescale we currently have is between 4-6 weeks, we will keep you up to date with any developments regarding your funds

Hi yes i'm in the same situation as you,I have a positive balance no trades open that had to be closed by alpari but still no email all my account information was correct also.

You are blind. KPMG SAID FSCS WILL BE MORE QUICKLY THAN THEM! HAVE YOU FOLLOWED THE DRAMA FROM THE BEGINNING?.

AND I'VE TALKED WITH FSCS SAID THEY WILL PAY FIRST.

SO IF KPMG/FSCS SAY THAT WHY YOU CONTINUE? FIRST TO COMMENT TRY TO FOLLOW ALL THE MESS FROM THE FIRSTLINE.

its all bullshit. we should have been paid ages ago.

selling our personal details to another company was completely wrong thing for kpmg to do.

using etx will not get your money back quicker. all they have done is sent us emails with no real information on our money.

fscs is the only option we have to get our money back the quickest..

once you get your money back then decide what broker to use.

It's a shame!!, in three months KPMG had only the impudence to submit their fees! Fees for which job? nothing! £ 464 per hour for some Pdf, and a portal that even a kid would achieve in a day? Also I'd like to understand how it ended the story of the infamous commission, which would deliberate on their requests! no news either of that!

why do not you do as a job? if it is so easy? I do not want to be a firm insolvency administrator with 100,000 customers. Customer data to sell was right. Because the customer data are the capital of a broker. KPMG has a duty to earn as much money for the claims. How valuable are the customer data you can see from the amount paid by ETX. And it is a bit more complicated to design as a portal. because it must be linked to all customer data. In addition, it must be possible to give the customer only gradual access to the portal. This is not like your private small website.

Do you really think they created everything from scratch? C'mon!?! Al they did, they built a new GUI and took the existing database, did some DB queries to see who was trading what and when and let some people access. All together, few hours of work.
With the webpage, the longest it takes to build a database (try wordpress if you don't believe me). They already had it. So, everything else is just making profit by trying to convince people it is a complex task. And nobody really cares, since the fees will be paid of client's money...
