I have received several emails wondering why I do not make the EA available as an open source project and provide the mq4 file along with the ex4 file, these people have criticized me for not doing so. I know there are many coders that are heads and tails above what I can do that I could learn from, but than there are also those wan-a-be coders who are just looking for something to grab and put their name on and sell.

As I have done in the past with all the EAs I have written and freely given away I have not provided the mq4 file, even those I have written for a specific trader with his ideas. I have never given him the mq4 file and this has always been the understanding before I will even do a project for a trader, and I always do it for free.

I have never sold any of my EAs or commercialized any of them for profit, if anyone has a problem with not having the code available than it may be best for you to move along and join groups where you are than able to modify the code to your hearts content, in this forum you are stuck with what I give you. This does not mean that I will not take suggestions as to improvements to the EA if they have merit so everyone can enjoy the improvements.

I use many programs that I have downloaded off the internet for free and I do not have the code for them and they are not open source, if they stop working that is the chance I take and I will find something else to replace them, but I don't complain as they were free and were of use to me while they lasted.

What I have seen when the code is made available is that there becomes so many different versions floating around that it causes nothing but confusion as to what works and doesn't work, I am just trying to keep some organization to the confusion.

Another reason for not making the code available is to keep it from being hacked and then being sold elsewhere for profit, like on eBay, where I have seen so many end up.

I know some think that because they don't have the code they can be left hanging if the developer leaves or moves on, that is always a possibility, that's why you should learn to trade with your own brain so you don't have to rely on a Robot to lead you around by the nose, we don't need the piper to lead us to the water, learn how to trade and you will not be left out in the cold.

Does anyone have the Code for XP?

I am just curious is there any recommended/already tested MM? In the set-up video I see on Friday you traded 0.1 lot with approx 100k equity. Is this the proportion you recommend/use yourself?

That is just a demo account and I always open them at $100K or more as I am only doing testing and I don't want to have to keep adding money to the account if the test goes against me, but I still trade the same as I would on a live account that is much smaller using the smaller lot sizes and TP points as if I were on a smaller account.

On a live account you could start at $500 to $1000 if it were a .01 lot account.

On my tests I look for reasonable basket targets which after trying for a week or two you will see what you can gain and be safe, I don't want to get greedy.
Some days I have seen 600 pips in the London session made by the Robot, other days maybe only 25 to 50, I don't have a crystal ball so I can't tell when the market is going to take off to the sky that particular day, so I would rather be safe than sorry.

Now the equity lock can help some, I will do some videos on that later on after everyone just tries the basic setup first with a small TP to see how its works.
With the EL you can lock in profit in steps, of course you always take the chance of PA pulling back and closing the trades as the PA does have some big swings at times.

You also can just trade individual pairs using the TP and SL, scalping them for just small gains.

Then the last way would be to just watch the charts for trade setups and enter and exit them manually with the Buy/Close/Sell buttons for each pair.

So it all depends on how you want to play it.

A good test on a demo account is to set the timer to trade the London session and then only set it to close at the end of the session, this is like running it wide open and you can get an idea as to what a good TP target would be, of course some days are better than others and news also effects what happens that day.

So it is kind of like I have said in the past, don't get greedy, a solid 50 to 100 pips a day should keep the doctor away, just adjust your lot size up as your account grows and I would think you would be more than happy with the profits and once in a while you may catch that runner that requires a wheel barrow to hall away the winnings.

A nice steady income is all we are looking for.

Thank you very much for the explanation. Basically - if we go for 50 pips/day we should get something around 0,5-1% a day. Which is quite powerful tool. That's more than enough.

How can ı avoid this screen problem.İ tried with my other lcd monitor but cant be succesful

god sake you are giving a free EA one of the best on the market then some complaining grr if he was me will ban them then tell them to get lost to many want all on a silver platter i agree the way you did it congratulations never ever give the code cause some smart asshole will modify or sell it for such $$$$ you had probably spend months or year in your free time to come up with a such EA that yours keep it and keep up the good work and ignore all the negative comments

Hi Seller9,
Have got Slots running on Oanda, having redone the forcehistory script after market started.
Now I have FXOpen, FxPro running off Program Files directory (desktop) and Oanda off C:\Oanda\ directory (laptop).
Hope this encourages those who still have been unsuccessful.

After going through the videos (twice) I have a doubt regarding the Equity Lock.
Does the "Go After Profit, Stop After 1, Stop After 2, etc..." button also apply to the Equity Lock or only to the "Equity TP / Equity SL" buttons?

Used this to get my history downloaded. Will grab history for everything you have loaded in the market watch window.

Got it from Stevehopewood site.

FYI, I have Oanda on my laptop, where I set the display to 1680x1050 resolution.

i have another question:
if i choose all the 28 pairs but i do not want the CHF pairs to trade, can i remove the mark from the tab and the EA will remain working or should i keep them to let the EA work?
