I think what happens is people take profit, mm's stop selling to trick people into thinking it is going up, because it does start going up as a result of these two things happening. Then you get all the people thinking they can pick the bottom that start longing it to bring it up more.

Then what happens is the big players start shorting again at the new & improved levels. Now all the people trying to long it become trapped & refuse to exit.

Their SL's act as a path downward for the people following the trends.

It would be a lot more difficult to sell it straight down with straight drops. They have to build up all the stop losses to make it easier imo.

People with big money are not going to be looking for any sort of true bottom until we at least get to 1.0000 imo

u want me to answer a question that nobody knows the answer to. we can sit here and ask irrelevant questions to things that can't be answered truthfully. what's the next question? why dont it drop to 1.0 immediately. i trade on probabilities of past moves repeating. not on possibilities, i look for them, but need a catalyst to trade them and a probability of a good outcome. we are just above 1.0. i can't trade like a village boy, in a canoe. i am in the middle of the ocean here with super tankers passing . my little 202 zebco charts have little power here.

End of day update:

Taken position: Short at 1.0745
Stop revised to 1.0678
Take profit on 1.0527 adjusted, will look to split if filled and cover another short.

+1 trading at S over the week end and after a 500 pips move is suicide, whatever is the side...they check the amount of buyers/sellers at thoses levels and kill the majority with big gap...no need to say that SL is useless against gaps, if the week open is X price, you will get stoped at this X price...

Like it says near the end, Yellen has already stated she will raise rates regardless.

It would seem odd to NOT raise them because of people anticipating them being raised (dollar becoming so much stronger before they've even actually been raised).

Any one who is pretending to know the future price action with confidence here in this forum is either soo arrogant or has a mental issue by seeing his analysis must come true. As a matter of fact if i know the future just for the next one hour i will be a millioneer from forex and will have no spare time to post in the forum.

Raising rates is not a good move for the, US it will send their debt to the moon. Nobody is going to buy their bonds anymore as well. Even if they're gonna be pushed to raise the rates, the next step will be QE but that's a long term shot, 6-12 months.

They have to; regardless of the current economy. Compare it to pa at major support then it has one way to go which is up. Financial markets go through cycles easing then tightening then easing and so on. If you need to ease in the future you need to tighten first. That is why after six years of easing the fed needs to get out of this situation of zero rate and huge balance sheet.

Nice trading PA1.
By my count though, it's 14 trades & not 142 trades.
Opening & closing 20 trades @ the same time is just one trade the way I count & not 20 trades.
If I open 500 trades @ the same time & close them all 10 minutes later with a profit, will I have 500 consecutive winning trades?

EUR/USD moving down following the strong bearish trend the whole week and fell 467 pip, and i think it is heading to the 1.05 support level next week.
