Fxtyrant: Are you sure you are not in the trap of marrying to your open positions? ?? Can you explain why you don't use stop loss knowing the fact that many people follow you. By the way I don't follow anybody s trade. ..I am not starting an argument here just want to know your plans to cut the loss when things don't work as you very well know nobody in the world can do this with 100 percent win rate for long time. ...You are one of the very few who walk the talk. what happened to all the charlatans here? ?? i never cut a trade, i usually practice proper MM, MM that allows me room to find opportunities to carry a trade for an extended period of time. if you notice the way i hold onto the EURUSD trade. the EURUSD trade alone never got to 10% drawdown....
the key is not to get stopped out. but rather to "manage the trade"
i also happen to trade forward options to minimise my spot trading risks.

I read some guy (on another thread) who does "averaging", where if price goes a certain distance against his position, he ADDS to it so to keep the price relatively close. Keeps doing that as often as necessary, until the price (hopefully) finally comes all the way back. I can see that working if you only have to do it once or twice... but more than that it seems to me it can get real dangerous.

of course it works if you know what you're doing.....
and as i said i also have forward options in play. european ones, where i hold till the day of execution whether i want to execute or not. up to me.

20min to aud release, question could be has he .25 cut already priced in?? be nice to get out of east, daily trend is down cheapest stoploss is north au nz missed parity by 19pip so far, could be interesting with todays release,

Very interesting for sure... expecting AUD strength... but it's a dangerous game... weakest link.

Hopefully 1.0880 in a few hours or in a day and 1.0785 by the end of the week. Sooner would be nice. 1.0510 to 1.0470 a good mid-term target.

No rate cut in my opinion, the US dollar is going down on it's own, no need to lower the aussie.

think AN long is one of the best currency plays right now in more long term horizon...ST/today is anyone's guess..
