To me smartest people in town are the CBs. Everyone else, even the big hedgies are probably caught on the wrong side of this move.
This bullish momentum came out of nowhere mid-week -- well there was that ADP number -- but technically this is very strong momentum ... I'd say as long as it persists , no shorts trades for me ... could be only days or last as long as many weeks.
Counter-trend pull-backs especially in oversold weekly and monthly charts can be pretty fierce.
Hear the music before the song is over ...

Pretty weak numbers out of NFP...can't believe none of the major banks even came close to predicting that. Most had it around 100k more jobs. Saying that, i'm surprised how small of a bounce up that got us. It looked like things were being priced in the day before with that 100ish pip bump with no fundamental backing. Clearly some people knew where the money was going. Kind of surprised we topped out at 1.10 again though.

We can see that the "Pump before the Dump" saying HASN'T applied to eur/usd two of the last 3 times.
Everything in life has a "counter". Especially in forex.

Time to get back to work. I am down sizing my herd of sheep, selling off both the falcons and have decided to donate the camels to an orphanage. Rest of the things will be split among my wives and kids. If you don't see me posting next week, light a candle.
