Looking at the EUR/USD the MM's move the price up to the next whole number then volume decreased. NFP tomorrow. Caution.

I had the same thoughts about GCad. Thats why I kept it shorting during the spikes. "Weird, double??" head and shoulders already done in H1, 1.86 seems the bottom. Time to buy? Well, time will tell!

I have to learn how to control my emotions. I closed those averaging trades too early, but luckily Im only a bit red this week.

Guys and Gals,

Thank you for your kind words and support during my "vacation", compliments of some "Senior Member" who can't handle the heat. Twee looked into the complaint of said "Senior Member" and took me off of suspension, but with a warning to me that I must not be so caustic when posting comments to articles. Apparently I cause some of the Forex Factory "pansy birds" to flap their wings and lose a lot of feathers,......people that have never posted a single live trade on FF. How about that! They spend their time commenting on articles, sometimes making claims to trades, and getting all upset when I post a viewpoint they don't like! What a bunch of cry baby "pansy birds".

Well, the good thing is I finally got rid of that "red mark". It was like having a "bull's eye" marking me as a target. I hope Twee is reading this, because I hope I never get it back! I came to FF as everyone does, to absorb whatever might help me. Along the way I was inspired to try and help others as I myself grew. And that became my prime reason for staying on FF. I care that something I share might truly help others. I simply do not care for "red marks", or anything else that "marks" me apart from others. I am not apart from anyone else on FF. Perhaps I have some experiential knowledge that might help someone, just as anyone else might have some that can help me.

And so far as not having the title of "Senior Member", that too is no loss to me. I already have enough to remind me of my age!

So, while I am not "special", your posts have warmed my heart, and I thank you for them. I sincerely do thank you.

Market Comment

Tomorrow is NFP Friday, the day of perhaps the most significant of the routine high impact releases. It is also a day of some bank holidays in Europe! This could explain some of the high volatility so far this week,.......the MMs and big players squaring away positions ahead of the release because they might not be able to do so with as much effectiveness during a bank holiday. tah

Geez,.....

Looking at the way AU, EU, GU and NU have been predominately bullish today, and UCad predominately bearish today, and with NFP tomorrow,.......well there is a rather strong possibility that the xxxUSD pairs go down and the USDxxx pairs go up. There might not be as much volatility with bank holidays in Germany and in the UK, but the US MMs are more than capable to put on some astounding moves all by themselves. In fact, any reduction in volatility out of Europe might actually make it easier for the US MMs to do whatever it is they have planned to do.

.......I.E., be careful because this could spring up. If you also have your own doubts about staying short, and especially if you get to BE or close to it, you can always close and wait and see. Whichever way this goes due to NFP, any move tomorrow, as big as it might be, is surely to have some follow-thru next week. So there will be more opportunity to vote again on it.....without so much hanging on and at risk......and when you are more sure of it. -tah

Point taken. All my trades for most pairs have finalized this week, except for UJ, which was hedged against UC. So I've stopped all trading and waiting for tomorrow to end to come back. So yes, at the same time I'm hoping it will go up and close out my UJ trade:

And yes, I've been a lot more conservative these days. I don't aim for ultra profits, normally very close to break even! Then I'll ride the continuation down with small trades bit by bit based on the bias. Trading very small so not much to worry about :-)

Guys and Gals,

From posts and PMs received I understand there is concern for what might happen to our fraternity should I suddenly be excommunicated, and more severely so. Suggestions like Facebook, Blogs, Twitter, etc, have been mentioned.

I really do not want to "go there" if I can help it. And I guess I can help it if I tone it down, which is all that Twee requests that I do. I know, it is too bad that free speech is restricted, but Forex Factory is the most ideal place for such a fraternity of traders to share. I know of no other alternative that offers such ease of posting charts, comments, PMs, etc. with such clarity as here. All the others seem to be overcrowded with advertisements or other inconveniences. And, Forex Factory is of no cost to any of us.

For the sake of our fraternity, I shall try harder to mind my manners and follow the advice,......"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."

On another note, I have changed my avatar and text signature to reflect my new direction in trading, which will rely less on the Sonic R. System Dragon and more on the study of price action and volume and key support and resistance levels. Simply stated,.....What is price and volume doing now? Is it doing it in the area of a key price level, or does it have a ways to go before doing it in the area of a key price level? Should I act now, or patiently wait for price to arrive at key price level, and see what price and volume does then? If my doing this becomes a problem here for others on the thread, but is more successful for me, then I will start a different thread. You are all free to comment how you feel about this. I am here, just like you are here. I do not own this thread.

since today most of the MM are in holiday . I entered and exit the trade . I just found this in NZDUSD .

Please give me instruction whether this Analysis is Right or Wrong for PVSRA and if I get a classic setup definitely I will enter .

I agree. It might be a bank holiday in UK and Germany, but the Asian session is up and running. And what the MMs have been doing is running the price lower ahead of the NFP release. And so far there isn't significant volume at any of the lows, which we should expect if a significant target low has been reached.
