Hi Guys, Gals,

I'm trading Eur/Usd with trading 212. I've noticed alot of you are talking about setting SL at less than 20 pips, however my broker has it set at a minimum of 100 pips SL, or am i being thick and getting this completely wrong?

I think the market has already priced in weak payroll, but not the unemployment or wage growth, so if the market is behaving logically I think even weak payroll will be non event and a trap for traders going long.

In case of weak payroll, wait for the spike high(the trap) then sell that spike, it could be 950/1000 level.

In case of strong payroll the reaction will be fast as no one could catch it and being late comer on that will be eaten by the retraces.


So I think for us small retail traders the only chance will be if payroll comes weak below 200, but only for the ones who sell the spikes.

Those thoughts only valid if market behaves in logic, which is not some times.

I have 1.0830 and 1.0785, not interested in any other levels on the downside, on the upside 1.0920 is the one to watch for now.

100 pips for SL, check whether its a 100 point SL. If its pip, then its too long.
