Disliked{quote} Let's do it... My capital ideas were always based on analyzing backtest results on 1.0 But I tend to use tight grids so... I have yet to default because I wanted to understand the internals if I was to take it live, but there are other ways to capitalize on a great ea as a tool, or for contest and such. Just let us know the kickoff dateIgnored
On the other note, i am playing with multipliers based on this logic. Now, we have all discussed the problem of sharp trend change, runaway market etc. The sharper multi we use, the lesser of a pullback we need to get out. Ok, so it also has a flip side that it requires more and more account capital. The idea is to run a very sharp multi, lets say 2.5 or 3. Now, in order to run such a setup, you would need at least imo 250k which most of us dont have. So, the idea is to use a cent account where 2.5k would suffice. Now, such a multiplier would have a really high rate of profitability, and once the market switches, he could get out with minimal pullback. Of course, this needs to be properly tested with free margin and DD in mind to set up adequate capital. Just an idea.
