resistance level approaching @ 12,124, though 100 may halt it as it is a nice round number. If 124 breaks, then there's really nothing to stop traders taking it up to 12,200 which is R2 for today.

Fear is not ' chicken feed' as you put it, it is a real, driving and powerful force that affects every single trader out there to a lesser or greater degree. This would be an excellent level to take full profits, not out of fear, but out of timing, good sense, and experience.

Couldn't agree more. I would have expected a bit of buying today for the first day of the month / quarter but with a very long weekend coming up , being close to the ATH, risks around Greece, Iran, other middle East and the market not being open for the jobs number on Friday then if people aren't looking to take profits today and tomorrow then it looks like greed rather than fear is ruling the roost (to continue the chicken metaphor )

My charts are supplied by IT finance and I get them free through my brokers. Today's high was 12,115.6

Avatrade high was 12140,

ADSS high was 12114,

Dax: currently price is hugging the H4 trendline..if it breaks lower i will sell again for lower targets.

It's looking like the best money is going to be on the short side this morning at least. Again Frankfurt is showing us which way traders are going to take this. The best tactic if you're not already short is to hope for a pullback at the London open and use this to get in. I've got possible support levels at the CP which is just above the 30m 200ema/sma @ 979, which could be the level we bounce off prior to the London open, and then below that there are the fib levels at 11,910 ( 61.4%), and the 76.4% at 11,862, with S1 @ 11,842. I don't see the price going below that today unless something really spooks the market . Good luck!

We bounced off of the H1 200ema/50% fib level which I forgot to mention above. The technicals still favour the short side for today, but now that we've found a strong level of support this has got to be broken, or we swish around between this support and resistance which is from where we are now, up to around 12,040. The 10m 200ema has come over the top of the price at 12,005, and this could be a significant line of resistance.
