Disliked{quote} Hi Shreyash, Hope your weekend was enjoyable This thread has become abit of a mess from the OP, with feedback and constant updates from different EA's then the BT posts come in. IMO it will continue to cycle this way as the market does. I'm going to stop posting here but it was nice to add some feedback from my trading experience. Thanks to everyone who provided the EA's for people play with to assist in automating a ranko strategy. I would have loved to have shared an EA but unfortunately this whole moving this has come up for me.. My...Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} Both of these statements say the same thing. When asked if you wanted the 3rd brick taken in to consideration, you said no. The third brick, is 3 candles ago. If it was a bear, followed by 2 consecutive bulls and Close is above the moving averages, take long. If it was a bull, followed by 2 consecutive bears and Close is below the moving averages, take short. {quote} This is the check the 3rd brick, and must be set to true. The biggest issues people have with voicing their strategies is when they have no experience with code. Code...Ignored
DislikedIt seems that checking for the 3rd candle made some confusion for some people. Here is a picture to make it more clear: {image} So if you disable for checking Candle 3, the EA opens a position regardless of the color of the 3rd candle. I will always set the checking for the 3rd candle true. This option is in the EA just for those who would like to experience with that option off.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Magix! Oh! I didnt realize that sorry! Also due to heavy work and constant traveling for the past few days couldn't devote much time to it. I actually thought if you set check third candle = false it will take trade on the open of 3rd candle instead of checking 3 consecutive candles and taking entry on 4th brick. Also Math's EA will take entry even on the 4th or 5th or nth candle if price crosses above or below the EMAs since previous 3 new color bricks will be above or below the EMAs and the condition will be true according to the logic...Ignored
DislikedHere is Version 2.60 of the EA that implements money management. The user has four options for money management: 1. Fixed lot size 2. Lot size calculated based on fixed money to risk per trade. 3. Lot size calculated based on percentage of your account's free margin to risk per trade. 4. Lot size calculated based on percentage of your account's balance to risk per trade. {file} Note: The implemented money management has not been fully tested. Please report any bug.Ignored
DislikedHi Shreyash, I have a question. I asked already, but it seems it has been overlooked. The 2 MA's. I read when the price is above both EMA's ... and when the price is below both EMA's ... fine. Why not if price is less fast EMA and fast EMA is less slow EMA ( sell ) ? Or price is greater fast EMA and fast EMA is greater slow EMA ( buy ) ? This is a method I have read about but applying it to an EA can make a huge difference compared to what you say.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Do you run the original or the modified version? Here the original version is running without bugs (2 demo accounts, each with 8 currency pairs). By the way I found setting BR to 10 and 10 works well. But I think we need a lot of further testing because for setting the EA values I used arbitrary values for all indicator properties.Ignored
