DislikedOk as promised, this is my draft EA (corrected w/ release 4) You need the iVAR_nmc to get rid of undertermined market situations I will add the closing trade when opposite color brick is formed and closed in the next release //| except of ossible coding errors (I am not a MQ4 guru) //| also, the coded provided by Peter is very good..., //| and I very much appreciate this EA structure //| //| so, I made those improvments //| - move the renko_hunter into Build 600+ MT4 compliance //| - I have corrected some loops regarding the usage of OrdersTotal()...Ignored

DislikedHello, I don't understand why you have wisp on renko candles. Renko must not have wisp and must be plain rectangular. Someone can help me to understand? Tahnks.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have the wicks on to better see how the price moved. As long as you use Open and Close prices, there will be no difference ( with or without wicks ).Ignored
Disliked{quote} This entry is correct. For the Renko Hunter, it uses the fast and slow moving averages as a directional filter. For the MathTrader version, it only requires a close above or below both moving averages to take a trade. This is where the confusion comes in. Peter coded it as a standard trigger and trend system. Math coded it as was stated by the Op. As they are 2 different systems, knowing the entry logic of each will hopefully help you make the decision as to which one is best.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hey magix! As you know i do not wait for the 3rd brick to close, I only enter on the close of 2nd brick So I had set "check 3rd candle = false". Thats the reason i smell a bug here...Ignored
DislikedBut Math has coded it in such a way that say if 4 new color bricks are formed below the EMAs and the price crosses above the EMA and as soon as the brick closes it takes a trade that means the EA will take an entry on the open of 5th or 6th brick... Its risky to trade that way!Ignored
