yeah, talking about 4h moves in UC. making 100-300 move tops. thats what i am after thru this years. 286x is what could be . yeah, making a dump on this would make Ecad move down ADR from the highz. would make intraday EU really choppy from now on it seems. Well, dont play any atm so wont play this monthly roll.

seems you trade the market relatively similar as me.
content on jpyxxx and gbpxxx atm. .

Would you have positions on USD major/minor pairs among the 4 as an example.. which could either be doubling your position or hedging..i.e

short EU Short AU etc?

yes.

You can do Short EU, Short AU, Short GU, Long UJ.
theres 4 trades of 0.2 lot.
thats enough.
but you can do Short EU, Short EU, Short AU, Short AU, Short GU, Short Gu, Long UJ, Long UJ
theres 8 trades of 0.1 lot, thats also enough.
up to you. but no more than that.

but you do have to watch out, because all those 4 currency pairs have USD, so major events like FOMC or anything like that. you have to watch your USD exposure.

I talk about stop hunting a bit and it was very relevant with yesterdays charts. I know there are some that don't believe stop hunting happens and that it's just "natural flow" so I thought I'd post todays usdcad 1m for an example.

#1 "Look an almost perfect H&S".
Placed trade with break of rising TL and SL above the right shoulder as that is the sign it is a good setup.

#2 Bugger, must have been a false setup.

#3 Nope just a stop hunt.

it was not fundie involved... big boys were aiming for the nice juicy orders up at 1.1 there was no fundamentals supporting the EURO to appreciate against the USD last week, especially when FOMC didnt give any clear change of tone..... still say fed has options to hike rates this year... but we all know that.... so for it to run up to 1.09 and 1.1 that should be alarms flaring to go short since it doesnt make sense. just big boys playing around.
but when in doubt.... trust the trend. and trend is short... for them to push it up to 1.1 gave a lot of people to load short.... and make a killing out of it... but retail traders are dumb... when they see EURUSD pushed up to 1.09 and 1.1 they all though omg omg its huge reversal coming and its gona go up to 1.2... but they'll end up longing and end up being wrong....
because once again.... ask yourself why would you go long at 1.09 to target to 1.2?? what is the fundamental reasoning behind? and you'll find out most of them dont have a reason..... other than them saying EURUSD is cheap to go long at 1.09.... heck a piece of turd is cheap at the price of 1 penny but would you buy a piece of shit at all??
