MT4 Order Plugin: Trade by lines with risk based lot sizing

Hi everyone,

I am using EasyOrder to open pending orders and love it! I am new to fx and was hoping someone could help me here. Why did my position not close when it hit (and went past) my TP line? I am confused, is this something to do with EasyOrder, MT4 or my broker? How do I resolve this?

Hi KierynM,

Sell order is closed at Ask price which is higher than Bid price. The gray price line shown on the chart is Bid price.

You can show ask line by pressing F8 - Common - Show Ask line.

Once again Sangmane you have been a star! I just assumed the spread was taken into account when i opened the trade (and that is why you always start in negative when the order opens). Probably a stupid question but now I think about it, why is the position always negative when it first opens (I thought it was the spread built in)?

Please find below two archives with Easy Order that works best for me. One is with TP and one is without.
Each archive is included up to date DLL file and recompiled EO scripts and archived in an easy to install manner.
Just download the file into main MT4 installation folder, extract and you are done.

Sorry I missed your question. Currently EO doesn't have that feature. I do have plan to add it in the future.

I recently found your amazing tool. Looks great. I tried it last friday and it worked with ordering, shifting the TP or SL. But today I couldnt drag the SL TP lines anymore. Or better to say i could drag them, but they jumped back.

Any idea what could be the reason or what to do.

Here's a quick Q,

Would there be anyway to incorporate trade management into this script, i.e., in a buy trade, move stop to be when a bear engulf occurs...?

I appreciate this could be a lot of work but just putting it out there

I do like this tool a lot. but is it possible to modify one of the scripts so after a order is open it dosen't draw lines for where SL, TP and order opens? i find that kinda confusing when many of orders are open. And i often find myself clearing everything in the object list.

@EmX: The script was coded before MT4 provides the editable SL / TP lines. I'll post the script that doesn't draw SL/TP lines

You can ether press Ctrl + n to open navigator window or go to view , navigator. Once there you scroll down to scripts. Find easytrader and just drag it onto your chart.

PS do not drag any of the easyorder_* scripts to the chart. easyorder will open them when it needs to..

Did you remember to restart your metatrader?. If you did not i would recommend you try that... If you do not want to restart metatrader u could also right-click on the script folder in the navigator window and click refresh.

That should be the correct placement yes. Im no expert at this but what metatrader version are you using?

I have read some people have trouble attaching the scripts under version 600.

Also if using Windows7/8 AFAIK. Those folders have been moved to The main metatrader installation directory. If you put the files in app-data that could be your error.

You could try going to File , Open Data Folder and paste it into that MQL4 folder as it should be your main one.

I'm afraid i cant help you much more. Maybe somebody with more experience will see your post.

YES...just as you pointed out, I had it in the wrong folders.

Hello again.

The script you wanna attach is called "EasyOrder" So if you find that your golden. Just don't attach EasyOrder_close/submit/draw . I don't think there is a script like easytrader in this package.
