You are right about that. It never works, but I am not revenge trading, as I have not opened a new order since the price was closed across. Due to the low liquidity at the moment, i placed the sl at the high of the candle and it has yet to be hit. A close under 1.09161 makes those sells a sure thing to the pivot. I have since close the larger order for 1.5 pip profit. So that order alone will cover the open orders should the sl get it
5% a day keeps the 9 to 5 away.

Mmmm no swing high on the EU... not a nice close under the 10900 mantle... We could be going anywhere from here... News driven.. do you expect it to travel towards pivot now or during the Asian session.

But the great question isn't answered yet. The question was: how in hell can not even the economists at the FED agree, if a strong USD is good or bad for economy? If they can not even agree on that, how can they agree on other topics which may be way more complicated?

And the other question which I find intriguing:

many economists still think, that the value and direction of a currency-pair can be determined by observing yield-differentials.It is something that sounds logic and obvious. But as Rogoff and others found in their studies, it is really a poor tool to determine just that. And the question than is: why do so many ignore this great findings?


The questions lastly are not aimed at saying that proper FA will not work. They are aimed at asking, why even economists can not agree on the use and interpretations of the tools.

Honestly, I would like for it to move there now, but I have taken profit so I no longer am watching it. With the formation EU has formed on the 5m since the drop down, and the slight bounce up from the main pivot EU SHOULD drop down to the main pivot before moving up 35 pips. As of right this moment, I would be holding the EU sell. I would ditch the sell once EU closes across 1.09268 based on my calculation on the 5m.
5% a day keeps the 9 to 5 away.

NZDUSD
Monthly pointing higher as weekly found support.
Daily Bfly 1.27 + MR1 at 0.7725 should offer some resistance, after that 0.7816 is 1.618 Ext + MR2, finally 0.80 for double bottom target.
I expected retracement to 0.74 area close to WPP + MPP to add entries, that hasn't happened yet.
Currently price at WR1, retracement could start from here as well, these are the levels that should be in play in the next sessions.

A Central Bank is not a single dictator dictating policies as he/she wish. In the case of the FED, Yellen is just the "Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System". Obviously she has a lot of leverage because she is the voice of the FED but the decision are based on the discussion of all the complex technical issues in monetary policy and with all the macroeconomic reports on top.

They DONT AGREE because THATS is the EXACT reason there is a BOARD not a single person digesting all the data and making all of the decision.

Its suppose to be like that so you have as much and as wide and deeper views as possible so the monetary policy is the most appropriate. Its a BOARD, thats why on the minutes or the BOE the ECB conference,etc we ARE ALWAYS paying attention if there was consensus in a decision or how many hawks/dovs were in each decision.

It work the same as the Supreme Court of Justice in a country, the top judges receive a case and they most of time can disagree in the outcome WITH THE SAME FACTS , the important thing is that their reach the closes and most sound decision as WHOLE!!!!!>

Because you are reading studies on Economic implications of interest rate and not STUDIES in interest rates and trading. It is extremely hard to make a perfect useful econometric regression if rates differentials and trading because rates differentials are play via expectations not by facts. What it means buy the time hikes/cuts and static differentials in time are in charts the majority of the moves are already digested.

In simple words and as example right now we already traded (we are trading) the meat of the first FED hike and the corresponding differential on the ECB for Q3 2015 but by the time the hikes comes the reference point for a economic study will not reflect the actual impact on expectations of the last 8 months or so....

For the same reason Doctors, Quantum Scientists, Lawyers can't in some issues or if you want to make it even simpler, you and me could not necessarily agree that the fair price I or you would be willing to pay for a Ferrarri even if the current price is already set by the market.
