It would appear that you are longing the "breakouts to the upside"which of course doesn't last more then 24 hours in EU. However, people are shorting EU because of the fact that the trend has been down for 10+ months (as EU started it's drop since March of last year). We have several people who have shorts open for about 350 pip loss on EU, with 0 stop loss only because the fundies are pointing down, but supply and demand trumps fundies.

To answer your question, he will hold that EU short for ever as he believes that EU HAS to fall due to fundamentals. Fxtyrant does trade in a live account but not for all of us to see.

Notice way less are short now, I'm short. guess that stopped a lot out. was waiting for that target to get hit.

yes i trade real, family fund behind it.

you do realise Fundamentals Drives market's expectation which then provides areas of interest and these areas of interest develops into levels of liquidity which are then known as supply and demand right?
Fundamentals give birth to supply and demand, not the other way around.

otherwise... tell me.... the 2008 market crash. did news came out first before the sell off? or the sell off before the news?
think carefully before you speak before you make yourself known as the local fool.

Fundamentals Drove EURUSD down from 1.4 to the low of 1.0450 which is a nice 3500+ pips.... where as your supply and demand is only so far driving this back up 600 pips.... so yea clearly supply and demand DOESNT trump fundamentals....

So start of QE have made the euro rise of 4%

yeah i guess, i have bad trading skills. Always having myself in a situation that will never even happened if i hadn't press that "trade" button while quiet market. :\

Retracement or beginning of an uptrend ?

I personnally consider it as the beginning of a potential trend reversal, as we had a strong reaction on monthly support.

Look at the strong up move we have since last week.

"Some" figures in the Eurozone have improved a bit... ok that's what we've reached 1.10 now from 1.0450. But the whole picture remains as is...
