One thing is very sure in fx trade. Be sensitive when everyone is crying sell, sell, or buy, buy know that the market wants to rip off thousands of retail traders. It will clear them out by making a sudden opposite direction before making any reasonable direction trend.

Imo the daily TL from 5/9/2014 has been well and truly broken hence the smashing through nearly months tight resist structure. Currently .7850 has been broken and if it survives the D close perhaps this is just the beginning. I mainly watch technical but even with negative news that resis lvl below could become strong support.

You are right. You saying my mind. I think there are days where the market is allowed to flow without interruption , and some days like Fridays and Mondays the usual SL hit is very comnon.

Very well put. The market boils down to "supply and demand", and since in forex their is an unlimited amount of lots, the market can and will shift the price quickly in order to make the most profit it can as quickly as possible. It was evident based on that spike up last week by EU, and how EU dropped, then recovered more then 75% of the spike. That should say something about the short position which are being held. IMHO.
5% a day keeps the 9 to 5 away.

fxtyrant; whats your timeframe for this? do u think eurusd will remain bullish to 1.10 and then time to add up more shorts?

on a 5m looking at 0814 or 1.119... one or the other will be hit.. some retrace to 085x or 0781 were missed .. it looks bullish..but here near 0942 is a place where that can change, or strengthen bulls.

It appears that MOST of the retail traders are wagering against EUR/USD.... Please recall the same thing occured prior to FOMC statement. Some people went as far as saying "Buy the rumor, sell the news" which is a stock term used to describe price movement prior to news events, in which after the news is released the price drops. We see that it didn't work for EU during FOMC, and once again people are shorting EUR/USD heavily. So a run to 1.10 should be a clear sign that the market wants to stop out where most of the orders are. We do have some traders who don't use SL, but clearly that ends up being a disaster.

today is Monday I already see confirmation for up ,selling will be snapped up imo ,I know this is not general thinking on fundies ,thats not important ,lets face it only the big boys have fully thought through months in advance
