I dunno ... Oil seems to be trading against the usd

All I know is that two of my outside orders got lit up in the last hour ... I am officially super long the usdcad and I hate it

especially since they did that dirty stop run after 4pm

Some valuble lessons today. It really is worth it to sit on the side lines when there is big news. I trade off higher time frames because I prefer a slow grind. Today was 100s of pips in minutes. I don't like it all.

cadyjpy touched the daily 50 EMA and came in with an hourly shooting star so I guess I feel better about the short

If you are looking for a good entry for a long term trade now may be the time. It could drop further to 1.23 but I dont know, the oil situation is pretty bad. if it drops to 1.23 i will go all in but may buy a lot or two here. When we run out of places to store oil (few weeks) CAD will crater. if not before

Thats no problem, just choosing to bet when and which side. My bet was to short acording trend line, not what Ms. Yellen will say or said.

Well both of you are kind of right. The chart suggested resistance and over bought price action.

And porky pig face, speech slurring, my mouth cant contain my saliva, I got my economics degree from a cereal box Yellen was the impetus to make the market move.

Charts are just a visualization of expectations.

pips snatched ... I am still short with an avg of 95.65

snatching these pips wasn't easy

but I am thinking so-so US numbers today so I can continue to add to the short and then the payday starts tomorrow on terrible friday CAD numbers!

knew this rebound would happen. But from here i have no idea whats next. Maybe time to go range with the favorite indicator espaecially if oil jumps a bit today.

This will very likely stay in range for a while but somehow test the red line sooner or later
