Could you please elaborate on what you're suggesting. You think that the CHF will be manipulated downward toward the euro if the euro moves down again?

yeah well, mom needed a new hip. i slept in New Orleans. looking for a bounce to enter. 066x/50 and the chf 1.0 is my best shot for one is the plan

Yes, but the rumor is that they are watching EURCHF, not USDCHF. And the level they are targeting is between 1.05 and 1.10 so you still have 350 pips to go. And what if the Swiss economy stalls longer than expected? The Swiss people want it weaker so I dont think the SNB will be too aggressive in defending this unofficial band (in fact some want to pass SNB reforms). Either way if you go for USDCHF which is the best way to go so long as the market continues to believe the Fed will hike rates, it will not affect you much. I mean 400 pips in 1 week plus carry? Hard to resist that

i think we had a talk about the Swiss in the good old days in the useless thread 4-5 years ago. . personally i think the good old days of the last centuries is gone. now there's the new standard . i dont think Swiss banking will recover in my lifetime. i think Swiss standards of living will shrink. i may be wrong, give the Greeks, Spanish, Polish, etc. a few more months to default on Swiss loans . watch what happens to world banking .. X 10 in ecb member banks.

Its not a rumor its a fact and yes EC is the one thats why i mentioned that they will intervene in EC but it will cause shot circuit in all other CHF crosses as collateral as they will artificially affect the value of CHF...

I kind of agree with you on the banking sector. The free rider time is reaching the end of the road. However, the standard of living wont be affected. They are too tiny and too rich to see them going down in our life time.

It seems that EURUSD is in a downward spiral now, there are no significant support levels (hard to treat levels from 12 years ago as substantial ones). Fundamentally nothng supports Euro, technically neither, so each attempt to rebound is very week and reversed instantly (we could see it even today).

i closed out all my trades, 800 pips is enough for me... tracking a monthly trendline resistance all the way back to the beginnings. light buy eurusd
chart all the way back to 1974, its on the line

yes maybe even longer, agree last century

this is my swissy monthly on sidelines have been for months my intervention trades were clipped by Jan BS anyway
most important levels red blue obvious sell high buy low, when talking monthly charts talking yearly trades 2nd most important level is pink, all time mid 3rd and 4th are the 1/4,s or mid from blue to pink or red to pink mid the one in play right now I have 9876 looking to the left its what held the 1st big intervention like brick wall and has held 2 other attacks until now, Jan was a major fukup however it was at for me anyway a major level (3rd & 4th)and shes still there abouts, is it trade able, who knows, what I do know is its a fuken dangerous level chuck in parity and triple condom time

nope I think you are wrong,

what is different between 12years ago and 12 days ago and 12 hrs ago, absolutely nothing but "time"

now what caused pa to behave 12 years ago 12 days ago or 12hrs ago is a whole different ball game, to emphasise, if 12years ago price hit **%*&%* level and rejected for say 6 years then it cam back and rejected again and came back 1 year later and rejected and came back 6months later and rejected and came back 6days ago, for which visit do you respect, note I said respect, not expect to reject cause depending on the chart pattern, my guess is it wont reject but has good potential to break it, is this trade able, my suggestion is no, until confirmed ie reject retest and reject or vice versa , break retest and continue just my 2cents

This is the territory my account hates most, once all my orders have closed, no real levels to watch. Fundis say its bearish, but the trigger finger is weary of any trade entering until I see a decent retrace and some kind of formation..

Ive learnt over the past 7 years, unless its a scalp Im out..

Still holding a NZ position with 300pips, 185 locked in...

Such a level could break by 100pips and still be a false break, I believe..

a false break generally is because it couldn't hold a retest

kiwi retesting resistance aka break of support 7297
edit, doesn't matter how many pip break is, retest is the key, requires much patience :nerd:
