AUD/NZD has my interest as a position trader. Since this currency has existed, it's at the bottom of a range(or a floor). I think over the next several months, we will see a rise back to the top of the range at 1.3540. Again, this will happen over the next several months. Find a good buy opportunity(personally I think right now) and ride this baby up and profit!!!!!

I am long too. this is H4, we broke back up 1,4, the SMA100 and a ressitance line at 1,0338

Does anyone expect this to go down over the next week or so or will we go higher before going lower? Its already been quite a move up..........

We are now entering a zone highly resistive, but we are bouncing from 1,022 monthly low. I would say we go up, but should I get a strong bearish signal between 1,05 and 1,06,I will protect or close my long. Who knows, I may even open a short, but only on the Armada (demo) account.

Anyone care to explain why AUD/NZD tanked 100 pips in the 10-20m following the RBNZ OCR announcement, remaining exactly where most thought it would? Looking like a long setup could be around the corner, but I'm apprehensive given I don't quite understand why this dropped so much off this mornings announcement.

There were talks leading up the the rate announcement that the NZ's economy outside of housing in addition to pressure from neighboring economies would prompt the central bank to hint at easing. This didn't happen.

I didn't expect a full cent to be priced into the RBNZ simply taking a more dovish stance. Thanks for your thoughts.

Hello everybody!! A noob here at the forum.
In my opinion you are absolutely right. The way I see it most of the news are just excuses to take the price to where it must go ( even if the reaction does not make sense at all). Thats why Im a pure technical trader and I trade what I see not that Ill find out its happening.
As I write this post the pair is setting up to turn the corner to the upside. Right now price is sitting at 618fib and it could go to the next fib at the lowest(1.0345).
I hope Im right, and if not... My stop will be waiting a 100 pips away

Don't see this lasting long, however we did break under important 1.0285 support level, need to get back above there, but I do see potential here for 100s and 100s of pips in coming weeks/months. we shall see. If I'm right, I hope I hold on as long as possible I'm seeing really bullish indications, but as always..

Yeah been in this pair taking shorts which keep hitting lower targets

First long which I will sit on 1,03+

never traded this pair down here,so anything can happen

Thought NZ would do a big buy in this pair

To bring down NZ to lower levels.
