Amen to that! There are so many indicators, MA, etc... that I can't figure out which one to follow. So I'm going back to the "original" Sidus formula for now.

Thats fine, but the original Sidus is not even close to as profitable as my 5/12 cross... If it was, I would trade Sidus... I actually realized that I dont trade Sidus at all and only the Bagovino 5/12 cross as does everyone else here on the thread...

We should be open minded to all contributions from everyone. We can weed out the bad ones, but being close minded can miss some good ones!

Your contributions to this thread have been great, thank you. This thread has inspired me to finally start trading live after 2 and a half years of demos.

One indicator that I have come across that I have been trying to implement is the Adaptive Moving Average (AMA). I found this .pdf in a previous post somewhere (http://www.currencytradermag.com/ges...Trader0806.pdf), it goes into great detail about the AMA. I think this might have a place in this system.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

No offence intended, but it's getting really hard to keep up with which settings to keep/use. That's why I asked in a previous post if someone who has tested the system could give a refresh on which pairs to trade with what settings (MA, RSI, etc...) and on what time chart so we can keep up with the most advanced guys trading the system.

I give it some free "air" before entering. I am not so often babysitting the graph so I may be even late for the trade. Bar has usually closed.

I just added "wait for bar close" rule to my cardboard diagram of trading rules. Thanks.

Here is what you do to post charts. Save your chart on your computer in whatever folder you want. When you post on here, go down and find the button that says "attach files to your post". Click browese, click the correct file to open, click open, click upload file, once it is finished, click close window. Then you post your reply. That should work.

I admit I was a little puzzled when I took a closer look at charts some people had posted here. Others were linked to an external share pages and some of them were attachments. I did try to look help to attach files, but did not find any. Thanks for guidance.

BUT, when your target is 200pips/day minimum, then team trading & mentoring is essential. Quandrant 3 (most active), our time 7pm until 10pm is where pips are happening!

I tried the russian indicator too and it got me in bad trades ... so it hasn't seemed to work yet for me. I appreciate all those that have posted indicators, even if they don't seem to work for me. They might for others.

Love the indicator EMACrosswithAlerts that was posted here, seems to be quite accurate.

Could you maybe add a 9 SMA as explained in the TIGA ABDUL by Orange Rosen , to you're system? I think it might be helpful to indicate early entry/exits. Like TIGA ABDUL ...post #389 .. Think that would be a very helpful addition. What a you think?



Also, If anyone could explain to me how to make a seperate 9 SMA for MT4 ... Indicator from scractch (or has one they can share) I would appreciate it. Would like to add it to Sidus/Bagavino moving averages.

You just need to add an SMA to your chart?

If I'm not mistaken, that's easy (at least with my platform).

Go to Insert/Indicators/Trend/Moving Average and open the Parameter tab.
Set Period to 9, MA method to Simple and click OK. That's all it takes...

I'm still fine tuning somethings... It's not ready to release yet...
As far as that Russian indicator, I dont like it either. It changes direction like the wind...

I had another indicator that was a leading indicator... It worked pretty well. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Sorry but it is something I had not done before with MT4 ....under indicators I had noticed one and the MA parameters could not be changed. Anyway I made one now following you're instructions! And I thank you for helping a Newbie! Thanks all!!!
