Hi traders I think it is time to step back and get some fresh air and try to put this mess I may have started behind us. I am sorry that this got so blown out of proportion because of some of the things I have posted that I probably should have left alone. I don't know Kopra or the other traders he worked with and if these were his ideas or someone else, that is unclear to me and I probably will never know. There is tons of free information floating around here on Forex factory and on the internet on just how to trade and we all use it in out trading....

I came across this thread last week right before all hell broke lose. I was able to watch a few vids but obviously, everything is gone now. I have a question regarding the breakout bars. If memory serves me correctly, the trade is executed only after price closes above or below the bar during the chart time frame, not if price just touches the bar? Thats how it looks to be working now, unless I broke it ;-) If that's the way the breakout bars work, how can I set a regular pending order? Thanks!

Click 2 times on BO and PO will appear.

BO -> robot opens when bar closes above/below break out line
PO -> robot opens when price touches upper/lower line

Remaining line becomes stop loss automatically if you do not set your own SL line.

Cheers

Sam, it would be interesting to have a short summary on how you factor in the news events to your trading plan. I think Demp asked the same question last week.

Also, do you tend to open one basket of trades in a week and keep your eye on them as the week progresses or do you open and close a basket daily?

How many pips do you aim for each basket?

Good trades stook! It's interesting that you think setting up your baskets at 10pm Central time is good, ...because I seem to think so also. Here, where I live, it's 11:00am at that time and the Japanese session has been open for 4 hours already, and it's right at that time that they seem to go to lunch. By 1pm, the markets pick up significantly because Australia closes and Japan is usually pushing something before Frankfurt opens at 2pm here (same as 1am Central time) and VERY often, what ever Japan might have been pushing now completely reverses direction (sometimes 10 minutes prior or 10 minutes after 2pm.) At 3pm here the London session opens, and I like to be all set up by then.

Hi iuforex, you are correct. Price must close above or below the purple BO lines for a trade to be enacted. T o place a Pending Order, you click on the BO button twice. PO's only require price to touch the lines, ...no cross above or below required.

I know how you feel my friend. Joni Mitchell was right: "You don't know what you've got til it's gone..."

Hi guys! Trying to improve my way of trading, I've seen that there isn't a way to "define" the step of the trailing stop. How do you define it? By the breakeven offset? Or how? How can we know how much pips does the stop loss move every how much pips???
Thanks for your support and keep on doing green pips!!
