Honestly I don't want to choose FSCS because that means I will whatever loss no less than $10,000 which I think it is not fair. It is a hard decision for me but I appreciate any advice. So thank you nevertheless.

At alpari KPMG online portal, should i choose FSCS question YES or No?


hello, my Name is Jenny from switzerland.
Right now, today, i like to claim at my online Portal at kpmg alpari insolvency page.


Should i choose FSCS question YES or No?


Can i return to claim with alpari KPMG, after i said Yes to FSCS Claim procedure?


Does anybody personally has the same Problem and how did you solve it?

It would be great if someone would investigate and give advice which choice to make when it will be the time. KPMG seems to be aiming for profit, while FSCS should in theory protect us.

I was short EURGBP when the crash happened and the position closed by them was in the green. I didn't get any invite for the portal yet, as expected since I had open positions. Let's see how they will handle the whole thing or if they will find an excuse to cut the balance.

Your friends have not a good legal experience.
So the last free advice.
You/We dont have a valid claim for FSCS.

Read this is from FSCS:http://www.fscs.org.uk/what-we-cover...t_help_me_Why_

"The firm I dealt with is no longer trading, but the FSCS says it cannot help me. Why?
As a fund of last resort, we can only consider claims if they cannot be paid by anyone else. If the firm is no longer trading but still has assets that could meet your claim, we are unlikely to be able to help you. This means that you will need to take your case up with the firm you dealt with."

You/We must claim through KPMG.
I hope now everything is clear.
And if you don't want to pay fee to KPMG you must vote, for that thing.

Thats fair enough.
What I will say is dont take advice from just anyone because its not always correct.
The right answers to the questions you need answering are a phonecall or email away.
The people dealing with this process are the ones to ask. They cannot afford to give out misinformation as the consequences of that happening would be huge.
Find out the facts yourself that way you know your getting the right advice.
The truth is out there. You just need to ask the right people the right questions.

Please I'm doing research on trustworthy brokers that is similar to Alpari UK and I came up with FxPro UK, Activ Trades and Vantage Fx UK. Can someone please send me a link to where I can get full details of each account they offer such as leverage and minimum deposit required e.t.c? Also please, I need a review from any one that has trading experience with these brokers. Thank you.

thats the mistake you are making...and you have done many times before when you are saying things are clear (for the subject we are arguing for)....

i am still waiting to give me proof of where it is 100% clear (stating HOW the funds are going to be repaid not how they are going to hold/treat/control it) that the funds are going to be paid the way you say (regarding KPMG).... because i made that mistake and i corrected it immediately later (on another post) when i re-read the document (and i understood why my friends didnt agree each other opinion wise)

You're doing a nice job helping the least informed people here, and until now I agree with all your point of views.

I have access to the portal since late friday, but only accessed it now - the amounts are correct, as expected.
Haven't agreed to anything for now, just entered to consult the balance.
I will be waiting for some feedbacks more, about the submission to either KPMG or FSCS, namely yours, after your confirmation call next week.

I know what the website says but everything written is open to interpretation. Also it may not apply to our situation.

The part I highlighted is the reason why a phonecall is needed to clarify that statement. The use of the word unlikely leaves the statement open ended and that has been purposely done simply because it may not be true for all cases. Unlikely is not a definite.
I phoned the FSCS and asked them about the situation.
They confirmed they knew about everything that KPMG had written in the emails to the first batch of clients.
Everything else I was told I have written in my previous posts.
The information I received over the phone is current and correct.
I will phone again this week for clarification as advised.

What is better? FSCS guarantee all the money, but KMGP not all the money?

What option takes less time?

For accounts with only $ 1000 that you recommend?
