ME/ME = Multiple Entries / Multiple Exits.

SE/SE = Single Entry / Single Exit ...

SE/ME = Single Entry / Multiple Exits ... scale-out

ME/SE = Multiple Entries / Single Exit.... scale-in

I think you are probably correct SJ. At least i hope so :-)

I first encountered TMS thread about a month ago and started to devour dozens of pages a day and hundred's on the weekend. I recently began testing using the simulator (LFH_Trading_simulator_3), i have completed 12 weeks on EURUSD H1 trading only NYO and TO (first 4 hrs only) and the results are amazing. 10 profitable weeks and 2 weeks in the red. The results are encouraging, and there is plenty of room for me to keep improving.

I will begin live demo testing next week, fingers crossed, and plan on sharing my trades with the thread. Hopefully other newbies can learn from my progress & mistakes.

There are too many people to thank as this thread has a great community of active traders, old-timers & newbies alike, providing charts, analysis, tips, news alerts . . . the list is very very long. However, I would like to thank Emmanuel7788, he has been incredibly helpful and generous with his time through PM, just as he is here on the thread in public.

Big thanks again to everyone for making the thread a great place to learn, and i'll see you all soon (with my wheelbarrow).

Edit: Snarlyjack, i really like the clean template btw, and the suggestion to standardize is a good one as it really benefits us noobies.

TDI look good to enter short, but the chart is obviously bullish. What is the reason to enter against the trend?

Hi SJ,

This is something which I would need to put on my six thinking hats over this weekend.
This 5-Method has been going for many years and Eric did mention about an advance version before he fell seriously ill. The few members who were in the skype group must remember him saying this. I hope they will speak up and confirm this.

I would not normally answer a question directed at a senior member, but this one i am confident in answering.

FO: Frankfurt Open
LO: London Open
EA: EURO/AUD (Note, EA can sometimes also be a reference to Expert Advisor, which is an automized functionality within MT4 trading platform)

Hello Emmanuel!

Can you explain on this W UC example, the range that you have set shows based on the high and low of the price bar. Does that represent the h/l of the closing price? The HA candle falls below that , does that represent the actual low as opposed to the closing price? Thank you!

Can you confirm that your trade was approaching the DO instead of going away from it? The other factors are what I would like, good tdi angle, 2nd bar, etc.

I'm trying to catch up to here and am on post 53.941. Be there soon!

I know, I know...their are exceptions to every rule.
Remember that we live in the gray (not black & white).

I took the trade as it was exiting the pac during the Fed meeting
with lot's of volatility. I liquidated out at the daily open line ( a level)
and should have held on longer. That is when Phx62 said to drop down to
the 15 minute time frame & exit at a blue apb.

The problem with the trade was I was trading "toward" the daily open line
not "away" from the daily open line. It was a "counter trend trade" but
a very profitable counter trend trade.

I broke my own rule. I traded on momentum & not the levels...

Hi rupasi,

The range high - low is the high-low of the weekly price bar. That is the real price being traded. The APB candle is not the real price, it is an indicator calculated from the Open High Low Close OHLC of the real price.
When you see the market make a new high on the weekly chart timeframe, you see that weekly high-low range, you should drop down to the day chart and look at the TDI. Do you see the TDI Green going out of the VB blue band?
When the TDI Green re-enters the VB, there is tendency that the market goes sideways wide range. This is how I identify the market type and then decide if I can trade thje Day chart or I drop down to trade only 4H swing using H4 chart. If the range is narrow, then I would only trade intraday H1 chart.

You must read up on HeikenAshi to understand what the APB is and what it tells us.

Hi blueface,

As a general rule, I always wait for the that period's candle to close to confirm the setup candle. If I am on H4 chart and waiting for the setup candle, I must wait for that H4 candle to close.
In the chart you marked, the setup H1 setup candle is the one before the entry candle which you pointed to. After the setup candle, you can enter anytime during the next candle.

Thanks! I was also looking for a tdi cross. I can see the continuation yet once traded a similar what appeared to be a bounce which turned against me, due to the pair was overbought and just around 68. On that trade, you mentioned that with TDI Synergy Pro, the green would have to touch the red for it to be considered a bounce since it is not in realtime. Bounce and continuation are different?
