Oh i see what you mean, so its better to wait a few hours to see if the support will break and potentially look for a buy order around the 50 level?

You can download and install T.Interceptor app on your ipad/iphone, it has HA candles, and use this to look for trade setups then open the trade on the mt4 app.

Yes, I trade GJ and this trade went just like the EA trade that I took this week but still +ve week.

EDIT: The traded day was in the range of previous day, when I mentioned Bullish day for the traded day, I meant expected bullish move. But It remained in the range of previous day.

In my opinion (newbie on TMS) you entered in a counter-trend short position while the daily moves sideways to weak bullish. Also the TDI was hoking back up as I can see in your SS and you disregarded a bunch of the rules from #post647 .

On my charts this looks like a counter-trend on a weak momentum which stopped dead on the 50 line of the TDI. I would have not taken this trade because of the counter-trade situation primarily, but other issues too.

Yes its a losing trade ...

Yes the short term trend is bullish, but longer terms is bearish. I entered because the first 2 red candles showed good momentum.

I took late entry at LO breaking TMS rules since its the 3rd candle.. currently sitting at +35...

I am watching it too. It has a lot of space (at least 130 pips) on the downside until previous S/R. Watch out for the Unemployment news coming out of the US in 4 hours. If it beats expectations this should further strengthen the us$ and we might just be able to catch that momentum for some nice green pips!

wheres the short trade roterio?
eurusd is very unbalanced atm.
tdi has not crossed and angles are flat

Hi Emmanuel thanks for the response. I actually started trading forex around 2007 and became very active around 2009 experimenting with different trading strategies. Over the past few years I haven't had as much free time to trade manually so I started trading with EAs. I designed a few myself, bought a few and downloaded a lot for free. I currently use just 1 now that is profitable but it trades infrequently, so I am looking for other methods I can also trade. I know trading with EA's is heresy around here, but I began to realize that if any method is truly good then you should be able to set the parameters in an EA and trade it profitably. EAs helped me figure out very quickly which methods only work in the short term, or only in certain markets, and which ones can be profitable in the long run.

Yesterday I decided to check back here at Forex Factory to see if any methods that I used to trade were still around and still doing well. Which is why I asked if there are people who have been trading this method since the beginning. I also found a couple of old EAs based on this method. I realize they both have a couple of flaws that cause them to lose trades when they shouldn't; but before I try to tinker with them I wanted to know if there are people, who have been trading this method and following a strict set of rules, were profitable.

Have there been any changes to the original method? Have you guys discovered any other rules that will cut down on the losses? If there is an updated PDF or post with the rules including any changes could you post a link? Do you mind sharing your myfxbook with us? If not I understand.
