Not right now but Hikes are coming mate. We will enter in rates trading mode very soon (within the next 2 months). In general words, bastards will position first (pullback) before riding later until the actual hike....

For now in the euro, again choose your poison time intraday until the top of next hour for a play for the rest of the session and probably the day and even week....This leg will set the low of the month.

Price created new .5 Ret yesterday, I am looking for rejection candle H4 for a Sell. Align Fib extensions with Daily pivots where possible. I will update on this one later as I am not able to place charts atm.

Ye but even though if you dont pre-position with regular retailer trading one can still catch good profits after hike is confirmed, entering on pullback bumps along. Sure pre positioning can make much more but there will be plenty chance after it aswell. Flows into USD after hike will go on and on.

Of course but that is irrelevant for this part of the discussion. We are just talking about defining and getting in synch with the main direction and aligning your trading plan (and main positions) to it. Not about actual exact trades.

Don't know how do you trade, but believe me in this one, if you master defining the main direction (despite your trading TF) you not only be hundred miles away from the rest as trader but your account will also be in a lot better shape because of the dramatic reduction in risk and drawdowns...

In any case, lets see how the rest of the session pans out ...

Morning. Looks like this USD weakness has gotten follow thru during Asia and now again in somewhat in London. Yellen was relatively balanced, probably dissapointing short term specs that were long USD. After that China data last night its worth looking at the range breakout occuring in AUD... its still in a down trend but technically could go back to 0.8000.


Other wise it just looks like Dollar longs are stretched at the moment based not only on Yellen, but improving fortunes for other currencies. Europe on the mend, Poloz taking March cuts off the table, improving China data etc. If oil can hold above 48/49 again and bounce we could really get a boost for these commodity currencies.


EUR and JPY still deeply entrenched in their ranges, Im content to let those develop and play it whenever they break. Till then I'll be playing in the commodity currencies.

Nah... this is hardly going up. Seems like EUR bulls can't get a decent spike up no matter US dovish comments. I'm more than ready to see all this down, down down sooner than later.
