Anyone know the meaning of that 50 pip upspike that happened 1.5 hours ago? No news, no nothing, just 50 pip up and down within 5min and noone seems to care

None explanations, I have realized and I was looking for news. It was nearly all the morning in 40 points range, without volume.

Oil did drop today could be a reason. I am long though im still afraid that its only a decoy. But if this move holds

Reversed all positions looks like a good drop is ahead. Should know this shit was a decoy aiming for below 1.23 now be careful longs it looks like they want to rape any trader before usd moves higher.

Oil is so volatile that this pair just follow its direction. IMO, there's still lot of upside that it could go. It's now all up to Yellen next week. Potential pullback might happen, but 1.24 should provide decent support. Only break 1.235 will spark a larger correction.

This could happen maybe next week or next again. Right now i really see a reason to not be long at least. Still aiming for 1.230 we could see 1.225 as well. I really want to catch a good long position when it is time this could go very far but when it is time.

You had got the reason. Yesterday's movement was a decoy in order to get liquidity. Maybe it wants to break 23'70-23-50 area. Today CAD news.
