Personally I think this year we will get to 1.08 maybe 1.05 in March, then a great pullback mid-year till 1.20 maybe 1.25, until the next EU sh*t storm (maybe with Portugal or Greece again) and then parity or below.

agree 1:1 is the general idea...but within years????? HAHAHAHA rather months than years bro...just wait for it...but someone already mentioned 0.8..that is a possibillity in the next 2 -3 years (something like Deutsch Mark)

In that case there'd be no more E/U to begin with --> immediate commencement of DMark trading which at the current rate is: 1.7205 to the USD

I think eventually 88 c will get hit. But yes, to be safe, within 2 years parity.

I believe that E/U would be 1/2 to DM if that was to happen, so 0.85 according to your price.
