shale oil development, fracking, horizontal drilling - all of these are relatively recent developments in the industry so it's hard to generalize too much, plus things are always changing - BUT, shale oil wells typically have (much) less longevity than wells in other formations, and that goes for both oil and gas. So, to develop oil/gas in shale, it takes continuing investment to drill more wells over time. If there is an oil glut and the price stays down below $50 wti for long periods, for years, it remains to be seen what that will do to the industry. Natgas production has been going right along for years with (what many producers claim) the natgas price below the cost of production...

Sorry mate, I aint watching enviromentalist video stating total nonscence we are running out of resources. Stone age didnt end coz people run out of rocks, but coz they found out bronze. We have advanced genetics and nanofibers, science progressing superhard. Is very laughable we run out of resources. Oil is not an issue, neither food and neither water.

See for example you got these african plants growing on fckin desert full of proteins and sugar and EU grain lobby preventing em to plant. You got GMOs, not saying are perfect, but in development and also possible solution. Water just megalol and energy? Also lol, I vote for CERN.

I put small pending sells on 1.1440 and 1.1520 just in case EURUSD RT that high not too sure where to TP though. Still @ 1.1320 / 1.1270 first?

As for GU, do you see any setups? Is that a new bullish trend, or just a correction? We are still confused in that thread lol.

I have questions for the "brains trust" on here

If I gave you a 20 litre container of ordinary soil, how much "oil" is in the conatainer?

If you planted couple sunflower seed in the container,( they microscopic seeds), now how much oil in the container?

If you water and grow the sunflowers to maturity, harvest and crush them, you will get approx 3.5 - 4 litres of oil, where did this "oil" come from???

Fundamentally oil can decline a few dollars more, drop of drilling platforms should not have significant impact when supply is high and demand quite moderate.

I have already undestood sands mining aint very soft to nature. But guess what: Czech republic with Poland have the biggest resources of coal in Europe. We also had uranium. Though fcking Russians conquered us in 20th century and mined lots and lots of it without ANY care of nature - totally wasted the place, I suggest you pay us a visit. Though they stole most, we built factories, schools, cities and currently thanks to this ruthless mining catching up with Europe. And those trees Russians wasted grew again. See, those trees are actually growing fast, its just us tiny people thinking we have the power. We dont, nature has.

I currently work in the oilfields in ND and WY and I can tell you first hand that the oil exploration and production is not harming the environment or landscape one iota. And if kiwi is trying to hint that plant oil is superior that's a laugh
