It must be a difference in brokers, as I get a new candle at 10 MST. That would explain the difference, as things started to drop in that hour which would probably give an entirely different signal on the 4H TDI than I had. Where's your broker located? Mine's Onida on EST. It might behoove me to switch rather than stay up until 2.

I am new to TMS. I just learnt the basics. I saw different members is using different Templates (May name is different)...

Is it ok use Synergy_APB or do you suggest using Synergy_Pro. BTW, is it for free/have to pay? Anyway, how about the price...

Anyway, please confirm whether i am following the right set up or not...

If you check post #52471, SJ posted most of his indis (he does throw the odd extra one onto his charts when nobody is looking )

My Current trades, both aggressive entries, TDI crossed on entry in the same direction of the trend:

The EU I'm less confident in, the resistance it's hovering above is a little strong for my likings with my stop a little close for comfort. I've considered moving my stop back a bit further, but it reduces my R:R below 1:2. I'm not sure if I should be messing with that yet.

AZ I'm more comfortable in, slow and steady. I'm showing the Daily, my entry was on the Hourly but the chart isn't easily viewable from there. The daily shows the trend though.

joynal2u The TDI method works beset in a trending market. When it is ranging you need to be careful.That short you took was either in an uptrend or during a ranging market. You are taking the trade on the harder side. I'm fairly new too so don't read too much into my words.
This trade is from yesterday, haven't traded today. Missed all the entry's due college..
This trade ended with a -30 pip loss.

Saw the entry on H1 (which I only trade) with a strong red candle break of low Frankfurt candle + below de Daily Open
line + below PAC + TDI cross with MBL below 50. Set the TP and SL 30 pip with SL on the 200EMA.

Can I get feedback on this trade?

I have noticed this was not a good entry because of the HL and HH on the M15 and it had a red indecision candle before it + it was
the third red candle.
Please feel free, i'm not afraid to show losers and i'm here for the long run.

That is what we call a good fake out.
(and fake out's are tough).
The only thing I can tell you is Lastingwell posted the
tdi mtf indicator (in paperclip) that would have warned you
not to take the short. It is a very good indicator btw.

The daily is my favorite chart. I think it is the most accurate chart.
Once you understand the daily chart you can drop down to the
lower time frames with more confidence.

What for a fake out? There wasn't even a signal.

Question, for what you have the PAC on your chart when you don't use it?
Signal candle need to close outside the PAC for a signal.
So, it doesn't.

And mainly, there was NO signal.

Read into to how to read the TDI right.
Here a little bit help, how the ma in the TDI should point.

I'm glad your feeling better!

I like the pac, for entry's/exit. But I look at other
things also (daily open line, apb color, tdi, shape of guppy's).
I try to look at numerous things in trying to make my decision.

When it's late at night (my bedtime...11:45 p.m.) and I'm trying to
put on a long term trade, some of my trades tend to be more time
dependent than price bar or indicator dependent. I try to analyze
the market as best I can looking at things as a whole.

I hope I explained that well...
