Here is that trade. I'm not kidding myself it was more a lucky trade than anything well executed. TDI wasn't involved. I looked at the PA and figured it looked like it wanted to turn, GBP was performing nicely across the board and so jumped in with a simple 1:2 ratio.

AJ looks like it wants to make a run, broke a resistance line and looks to have retested it. Been in a steep uptrend, looking to continue? TDI wants to cross. It's currently butting heads with resistance from a few days back.

The current 1H candle is OK for a reverse of the minor 2 candle run down? If the next candle is solid push that confirms yeah?

thanks for your trade chart.

here is my trade entry done yesterday using the H1 TDI bounce setup with 200EMA and BRN for my setup decision. This trade is still open.
I wrote some comments on my chart below on how to spot a TDI bounce by looking at the real price bar price action. The close price is very important when we use the TDI Red Green.

Hi SJ,

Yes, on H1 we can trade the intraday continuation when the PA break the previous Day High. Looks good as of now but we need some liquidity. China bank holidays for today and next 2 days, i wonder where the liquidity will come from.

On my D1 chart, I am waiting for the PA to break out of the range. AU weekly chart will show us the clue when it will happen. Then only I will consider to start my position trading with ME/ME. I started one on NZDUSD but is is running very slowly.
If anyone can post a AU weekly chart and share what you see, then I am here to discuss how we can trade this next move.

Note: Until I see a breakout of the range, I will only trade lower TF like H1.

Weekly aud/usd chart.

Looks to me, Like the A/U might have hit a bottom,
according to pin-bar wicks & tdi. It might be ready to bounce-up.
However, according to guppy's, weekly still in a strong down trend.
(Their is room for it to trade long)...

On my D1 chart the slope of the TDI isn't related to price so could indicate a continuation of trend, however it is a good cross above 32. I would wait and see if price makes HH and HL if it does I would target the 50sma. EDIT: and h1 and h4 looks like it could retrace so could keep going sideways until meets the 50sma.

It broke April 2010 min.
Downtrend has been constant and progressive.
It may bounce indeed cause last weekly HL.
You may be right SJ. New uptrend cicle will begin.

I just took a fast scalp trade on the gbp/jpy
30 minute chart. Just to see will happen.
I'm hoping it breaks the s/r levels & starts to run.

When scalping like that is it better to have a 1:1 than a 1:2+?

I'm eying off the chart. It looks like it is ready to make a run on the BoJ announcement coming up.

EU, M5 scalp + 6.9 (5 lots) entered on bounce from BRN 1.14000 and 200 EMA PA above all and TDI moving up and H1 & D1 green..closed this one manually as PA stalled not EA managed.

Same here SJ but, I think that was more of a liquidity hunt. I'm still watching for a long entry.

Yep, if BOJ is going to continue buying bonds, the currency will continue to be devalued, which means jpy pairs going north. Combined with looking at the charts, I'd say there's a better probability of them going north.
