Wow, it's surprising to me that a Greek deal would only take the EURUSD to 1.154x (max 1.161x), knowing where we are currently... that's a rather weak move indeed. Thanks for your analysis!

Greek Stockmarket is quite shallow in depth and turnovers are too low anyway (fall of 3.36% with 28m turnover). You shouldn't base any decisions on it as it is comparable to a casino. Word is there would be no deal today - thus the fall, but there would be again an emergency Eurogroup before the end of the month whereby a compromise will be made from both sides.

In the meantime I am still collecting EU taxpayer UROZ to plan my super holidays this summer!

Technically euro is ready since last week for the next leg down but Greece is keeping the bulls at 1.127x pushing. As long as they don't clear.... The natural tradable move (without greek drama) is 1.142. The extensions i am mentioning above are because of the Greek deal....

You may want to put the move in context (you will need to get out of the intraday charts for such moves). We are talking a +++500 !!! ticks pullback since the Greek play started this month ...thats is rather a very decent pullback especially given the slope of the downtrend and how strong real Fundamentals are aligned against the euro.

I agree, we've already got a decent pulled back in place. It would be good if we could resume downtrend shortly, I have a couple of shorts stacked already, some of them placed too early but I don't worry yet. Still wouldn't even mind a spike up to around 1.15357 max (Weekly R2), this would fall perfectly in line with the nice bear flag on the daily charts.

This worked out nice...EU still above 1409, yet GU down by 60 pips. Nice setup, but I am flat now, no idea where this goes during US session.

5370 might be long for 20ish. Other than that i am bear waiting for lows to further crumble for shorts.

Relative size values always for reference never absolute numbers otherwise it will be impossible to measure strength....The +500 ticks from the post before was just for explicative purposes to make the point that is not just a few ticks the move....

Do you realise that your chart shows a lot more losing trades than "winners" ... my 2 cents watch out you maybe chart fitting your brain after the fact. A MA crossover in M1 will always end up in tears, why not checking or PM some of the good and more experience intraday traders in this thread...they may help you improving your trading ...

In any case, talking heads about to start meeting, as usual watch out for gossips and slips of mouth especially during the meeting lunch time and before the "official" conference later. Nothing to see in the euro for the rest of the session. Equities made all time highs again on Friday. With US closed, DAX losing 11000 by the european close may give some hints of whats is about to come later...

Even after the Eurogroup meeting is likely gaining popularity today, the EURUSD continue observing sideways to negative trading with descending trend-line, near 1.1430, restricting its immediate up-move while 1.1360 being strong support.
