sorry for the short reply, I'm really tired:

-buying or selling doesn't matter... it's up to you. We work with statistics and odds in your favor buy using strategic Stop loss

-direction is at your discretion

-tools for measuring best-volatility news: Tony and his 10+ years of experience.. pick em up on page no.1 it's the cream of the crop

-we trade more news cause some news come out quarterly.. + volatility picked up so stay tuned for weekly news suggestions

-keep it to 1 trade per news

I would like to make a point, and its that a 18 pips stop loss is an excellent fact-based stop loss, considering the maximum spread in oanda is 15:

i wouldn't pay much attention to myfxbook's historical broker spread if i were you.

i know for a fact that Pepperstone's spreads are off by +10 pip sometimes. i have no idea where they get their sources.
i wouldn't be surprised if Oanda's were wrong too.

just get yourself a spread histogram indicator.

Been with OANDA awhile, they get much higher than 15 sorry to tell you the truth..

Please can you tell me what news are you trading for next week?

I just follow here to check the important news for trading. I don't really post my trades bcz my system is different and once one trader was offended (because I was using my own system) so he said that I shouldn't post here. But still I look for news for trading.

I use fxrm spread history...
check out the attachments...
ICMarkets spreads... better than my Axitrader, generally...

I started doing this after chf unhinging...
am looking for stable spreads for my advisors... and I think the indexes are it. Check out SP500 attachment.... the spread never varies... other indexes ICM has are good, too... though some of them vary through the trading day, but very predictable.
