The most powerful people in the world are the holders of undisclosed fortunes. They are also, undisclosed characters. Forget Buffet, Bill Gates etc... the holders of information such as the SNB move for example have more money than it could be printed with all the printers in the world.

FOMC on gold. I got out with 0SL, but then...price fell down +300 pips. Shit just happens And the funniest thing is, that i closed trade manually, i should be more patient.

got burned with -18, the reward would have been 100+



too bad for oanda spreads of 30 pips... a few more weeks like that and I'm gonna leave them.

you are so right Tony, that is exactly the reason why i already left Oanda. In former days Oanda was a really good broker, now its crap.
The Oanda Idea to offer High Spread instead of slip is totaly crap.
when i want to set an order and i get slippage for 10 pip its ok, even i'm already in an order and the broker have a slip its ok.
but i didnt get out of slip in other direction.
With Oanda its always to go out instead of spread

Like Tony, I'll be watching the Oanda spreads closely. In the meantime, could you say which broker you use?

I was ok with a spread for up to 20 pips.... things of the past before the SNB event, since then they're shaving the losses on the remaining traders... slowly. Hopefully things restore like before....15 - 20 pips is acceptable if no slippage. Keeping you posted

sure, in past days i used markedindex but this one is already closed.
afterwards i went to activetrades, the offer mt5 plattform. this working really good.
MT4 in general is to slow, the old achitecture from mt4 is really stone age of computer.

also i used fxpro in the past, but i can't reccommend them. i cannot verify it, but i think the use the virtual dealer plugin

I went long GBP/AUD with 30 pips stop loss. I should have used 40 pips. I got stopped out ... barely.

Shit happens.
