to be honest i wasn't watching your fib setup.. just commented on the Long/Short ratio... when we were at 1.39xx shorts were much heavier then longs.. just pointing that the ratio is not a perfect indicator.
as far as fibs go. dont get boxed in.. 1439 is indicated. although 1312 is most times wanted again before.

the price was consolidated around the support level but failed to break under it and started a correction.

Clean day for the euro (and a much needed shake).

Long time since Dollar got hit in all fronts. First the "good" news from Greece in the euro, after the hawkish BOJ in the yen and ended up with hawkish BOE in sterling...and on top bad US numbers in dollar. Once we cleared weak hands stops at 1.132x ...the rest was history.

Tracking 1.139x for the roll to open the leg to 1.116x with intermediate stops at 1.123x/4x and momentum on the break below 1.13xx. For those playing the top side 1.146x with extension to the 1.15xx marginally open, especially on failure in the roll as the play can extend to the weekly play ...

In my case, all done, same levels, same trades, same all...

Between (GMT +1:00 hour) 4:00-5:00 hour under 1.14000 [1.13650-1.13900] the Long:Short ratio was:
Long - >40%
Short - <60%

Now: over 1.14000
Long - 21%
Short - 79%

Edit: not saying it's buy time, just interesting

The EUR/USD up today taking advantage of the dollar weakness and broke above the 1.1350 .

In any case, sorry for the rant but those numbers are absolutely RUBBISH...

After ~ 9 month fall....waiting for "retesting low" is the ultimate way to be trapped imo.

Edit: btw short term sell signals are forming (maybe a triangle is under construction)

I tried many technical analysis. First, they are visible only after the fact, but this is not an issue because all we need to know is that they exist and will work in the future too. Two, one has to consistently apply these edges with no regrets or change of mind about their workability. Three, they may not work on first few trades and therefore greed should always remain checked. Gann is one of them but there are many that work.

The technical that I use most is taking chance of a bounce at key levels. I know, no matter if it breaks or reverses from a key level, first has to bounce 7 out of 10 times. The problem is how big the bounce would be? Therefore, I limit it to few pips with equal stop loss. However, major part of my trading consists of managing a trade portfolio of several small trades. Here I use very few technical and rely mostly on key fundamentals. Both of these methods have their own advantages and limitations. In nutshell, nothing provides a big edge, you have to work with a small edge, remain consistent and never over-leverage.

Polygamy is something personal. I am married to 5 wives and therefore 5 mothers-in-law, but no one ever asked me how many mothers do I have.

I personally think that we have a major top in this area. Top for profit taking rather than anything else. When the bastards will pull the trigger? not sure but at these levels equities are playing with fire.

My call is that we have a Quarterly high about to be set this week. I am sidelined there but I wont be trigger shy on a failure to crack 2085.xx ...
