my understanding why it s not smooth because you view TTDI on HTF (m15) on current TF (m5)
What I normally do is taking M5 TDI crossed (for oil) with TDI confirmed on M15 ( look at my oil M5 chart, you will see TDI-MTF (M15) already crossed and stepping down...basically I took M15 signal with early entry on M5
For some people they like to have both TDIs on 1 chart, others just click between time frames to check...

The TDI is the heart of this simple 5-Method.
You can trade this method in other trading platforms too by using the moving averages applied to the RSI data. You don't need to trade with MT4 platform and all the fanciful MTF indicators which you will not find in other trading platforms. That will make you an independent trader.

Your body has only one heart. You don't need to have another heart.
Why not trade with three hearts? More precision entry when all three time frames are aligned.
Trading is not about precision. Trading is an art, not science.
What is PA and Supp/Res which eelfranz talked about in many of his posts and in that post#261 above.
What PA do you know and want to trade with TMS?
How do you see consolidation on your charts? one proven way is to look at the real price bars/candlesticks. It is simple and time tested. Has anyone in this thread shown us how he/she see consolidation on his/her charts?

Hi. I can understand your position totally, but you need to know that if you are going to make a living trading forex or any profession there is what is called work/ life balance. One of the things I was told in one of the first forex seminars I attended years ago was that don't trade with money you cannot afford to lose. After blowing two accounts I realized it was very true and expanded the meaning to "never pursue forex sacrificially". Consequently whenever I had an option to trade or get a job,(just an example) I'd get a job. It has made my forex journey longer but it has prevented me from putting my life on hold for something that might not work out and regreting.Something your wife would not want you to do. That being said, looking back I wish I had come across TMS earlier. It would have shortened my journey and all but guranteed my success in forex (Thanks to God and eelfranz). Reading a bit of James16 thread helped me a lot with patience in forex, so my tailor-made advice to you is" eat your cake and have it. Get a new job if you can and wrap your trading around your free time.The best way to start off in forex is part-time. A lot of people trade forex part-time and you can be one of them. Focus on the Daily time frames, taking trades at the end of the day (ie.12am) and the occasional scalp. TMS will help. Earn while you learn. There is so much to learn. And when you have enough experience, confidence and a large enough account you can comfortably become a full- time trader. Don't give up on trading just do several backtests to see how many trading opportunities you will come across during non-working hours then start demo-trading.

That was a nice D inside bar breakout as setup. Quick 100pips if you had caught that setup.
Using Inside Bar to identify market consolidation is one way to trade PA Price Action...

That's one way to keep things simple. One TDI is all we need and that will confirm the price action. It is PA and Supp/Res exactly what post#261 said.
If you cannot understand that, it is not the problem. It is very hard when you lack sleep and waking up at 3am UK time and reading my posts.

Can anyone help me out in setting up this APB chart, my chart got expanded (bar distance increase) if i want to see the open and close price hence very limited bar appear in chart. if i zoom out APB is not visible clearly... can anyone help please... it would be nice if APB can be set in background so that the candle can be visible. thanks.
