The EA follows the HA/HAS settings in the EA.

What do you mean by "market becomes reverse" ?, based on what ? HA/HAS or Japanese Candles or othe indicator ?

I agree that 50% will hurt.As 50% is 2.5 time bigger than 20% I dont mind it getting hit once or a maximum of twice a month when I''m adding +/- 60 % a week.

We do however have no data except for the last two day to work with so this view is subject to change.

Like you said risk when controlled can be good and having the EA doing that creates a stable "edge" hopefully

Hi there - love the concept of this strategy and am eager to dive in. When I add the EA to my Oanda Demo account (MT4). I get this dependency error. Would anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

I'm getting this message several times a day:

"Trailing Stop Modify Error: no error, trade conditions not changed"

Upgrade to v6.
EDIT: oops .. I see that you already using v6.then those messages might be coming from a v5 instance which is still active.

I think Oanda is using an MT4 Bridge. The error you're getting is becuase EA CAN not locate standard libraries that come with MT4 namely: stderror.mqh and stdlib.mqh.

Really appreciate the response! I have seen this with other EA's as well. Can you name a broker that seems to work well?

I mean when the HAS color changes the EA doesn't close the open trades. (my account is five digit normal )

Well today did not close anything manually to see if EA was working well, and the result shows that AB is a genius, everything is working well as you can see on the images change, only the SL does not show in all pairs, something should be going.

What I noticed was that the spread soared when he opened the new sail, the effect is to buy or sell at this time.

great system from all i can tell and reading all.

also entering on daily = after ny close makes sense. so being monday first trading day and exiting friday as to not carry trades over the weekend.

that i think is very important since extended friday moves often reverse sharply during london open the following monday.

but one suggestion i have for the coder. opening trades at 00 is very very bad in a live account. thats when the spreads are the worst, on some pairs my guess would be easy 5 pips if not more. so times 15 thats 75 pips lost in an instance. that could be avoided if lets say there is a adjustable time delay for opening the trades. i think 5 to 15 minutes there abouts should do the trick.

Hi, started up this evening and 7 trades fired of at the candle D1 close.
But 3 of the trades looks strange. I am using setfile/template from post 1.

I got EA sell trade, NJ sell trade and GU sell trade. All latest HA candles is blue on the charts.!

You have to equal the HA(S)-Indicator on the chart to the EA's.

Check Brokers Tab at Forex Factory Here, and select anyone you like who has MT4 under Platfoms.

I *think* there may be a problem with HA_Rider setting a stop loss when opening Sell orders ... in the last two days, it's set a stop loss on the buy orders, but on the sell orders. Normal broker. I can't see anything obvious in the code though.
1 pip at a time ... if the entries are strong, the rest will follow ...

You are absolutely right.

When HA_Rider was developed it was intended to trade any time frame (not only the Daily).
Although I prefer to use it on Higher time frames as mentioned before, like H4, D1 .. etc.

Accordingly I will add a new input in the next release for Trading Times and Trading Days.

Thank you antantnz for bringing this up.

I discovered a bug in the trailing stop for sell orders, after the first modify it puts the SL as 0 in some cases.

Original Code :

  1. while(!OrderMod && tries<oper_max_tries && new_sl<old_sl)

Fixed Code:

  1. while(!OrderMod && tries<oper_max_tries && new_sl<old_sl && new_sl>0)
