DislikedThis morning's trading video. I couldn't get a good trail on, but still a good day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP4VvgsYb6IIgnored
DislikedA better day today, although last two days were rubbish. feel that I'm still jumping in on momentum far to early. Two nice 'travel back up the wick' plays today{image}

DislikedHi Jason! Nice thread, great video channel, haven't seen you advertise/sell anything, so I'm in. 2 Questions please: 1. Which broker do you use? (you trading style requires tight spreads I guess) 2. Could you make a video on your platform setup. How do you enter the trade and have a pre-set S/L + T/P? MT4 doesn't have that feature (very bad platform imo). Iassume you use Ninjatrader. Thaaaaank you!Ignored
Dislikedstill reacting emotionally to this , but managed a +2R finish today. traded in the post open chop for a bit , wtf?!? and far too many trades ! never mind least I'm acknowledging my mistakes albeit after the event. arrows and areas drawn afterwards seemed to make the most sense. just need the discipline thanks Jason, enjoying this so much.....{image}

DislikedIt is fun, isn't it? Just be careful. Overtrading becomes a habit very quickly and one that is terribly hard to break. The worst part is if you do it and you end the day positive, it just re-enforces the habit. But you already know this{quote}

Disliked{quote} thanks Jason..... yesterday 'bad habit' disaster I'm too embarrassed to even post the chart. Today lots more control, lots more awareness. Stopped trading at around +1.5R, but did like the look of the arrowed set-up. {image}Ignored
DislikedNice job. Glad you caught that long at 9:33. I almost pulled the trigger (and probably would have made for an easier day for me) {quote}

Disliked{quote} many thanks I liked the look of the spike down, which in fact got me short, then the move back up the hammer(ish) candles and break. Happy to say that, apart from one foolish 'impulse excitement click' the entries you took, I also took ! amazing... even the last re-test set-up that I passed on. which can only mean one thing.....I'm learning, but lots to work on still (mostly me) Thanks again Jason - I for one very much appreciate everything your doing here in your thread.Ignored
DislikedWhile we're skirting the topic of overtrading, I thought I'd share some of my own thoughts on trading psychology. Some say trading is 100% psychological. I think for the most part that is true, although I'd probably say 90% psychology - there is still some skill involvedWhen it comes to overtrading - or revenge trading, whatever you call it - most people know they shouldn't do it, and they do it anyways. The simplest reason for doing is: It hurts to lose. The most common thing I hear from those that have admitted to revenge trading on a particular...

DislikedHey bg - PM me for my broker. I'd rather not say openly on this thread because I don't want it to appear as if I'm endorsing them. Regarding platform setup - yes, happy to do. It may be a few days still before I can get to it so stay tuned. {quote}Ignored
