I suppose if you were scalping 1.128 was a support level to have considered taking profits.
If you were looking to swing it you shouldn't have entered any shorts around these levels.
If you were scalping longs, you should've taken profits as well.

I understand what you are looking for. Its an interesting concept. Similar ideas used to be widely used in arbitraging (not in fx) until the super HFT algos came and annihilate any potential arbitrage opportunity ....

In any case, looks like an interested benchmark that may allow you to focus where to look intraday and bet on the statistic norm rather than chase the extreme moves. I am not sure the stability of the system in normal or trending conditions (we are in pretty wide range for almost 12 days which is very good for these kind of statistical concepts) but GL and keep us post on your general technical views to see how it goes...

...well obvious reasons, not centralised market and more importantly there is not a simple correlation between pairs but a multiple one making any algorithmic arbitration SUPER advanced and complex. Additional the liquidity is pretty much air and algos in most of the crosses (and even pairs !!!). It will work better in stocks (in reality for retail it doesn't work anywhere since a decade or more)

cable is my nemesis ...i don't talk cable anymore ....

Knee jerk reaction completed in the Euro and we are back to square one for NY.....
