It's been a very long time since the price got so far above the Daily 200ema/sma, several years, so bulls beware as price likes to return to it when it gets so over-extended. It's 1000 pips all the way back to it, and although it may not return all the way to it, my medium term outlook has become decidedly bearish. The way I look at it is - If I had been long from early January, would I still be holding?

Tending to agree that maybe a poke at 10250 during the month is not unreasonable.

It's still undecided as we've found support on the 4 hour 100sma and could rebound from here back up towards 10,800 or so, but today should give us the answer

IG Index and Intertrader, both supply identical charts provided by IT Finance. I spread bet.

Ah. I trade direct via EUREX and use RCG as my broker.

As you spreadbet- dont you suffer from " dirty tricks"? I.e terrible slippage/fills- as after all its a false market and they can do what they like

If one has a chance to make 50 pips but slippage/spread etc means, it will be 45pips. What do I care? I will take 45 or even 30pips.
None the wiser!

I have very little experience of that happening, a few pips maybe here and there, but generally they're spot on. If I get stopped out, it's because of my ineptitude above any skulduggery my brokers might be using

"few pips here and there" can make a big difference in turning a losing trade into a winning one- eg stop hit by 1 " false" pip

I was throwing out a loose generalisation - 98% of the time, my entries and exits are within 0.5 - 1 pip of the actual price, so it is not an issue that concerns me at all.

I used to have a account with ETX Capital but I closed it due to awful negative slippage and NEVER ONCE was I given positive slippage.

Avoid ETX CAPITAL at all costs.

What is the round trip commission for a dax or ym contract?

Momentum is down, but we're on this stubborn support level, so right now a very risky time to be getting into the market. We know from pm pa that this thing can rally aggressively from almost anywhere, but also, if this support breaks, the flood gates could really open for lower levels.
