And we roll 1.131x at the rock bottom of the wide range. From a pure technically point of view wide range still holding but looks academic only, it may not even hold the opening ...

In any case, equities made the hard part and they look set for a one more rally and euro still far from any momentum play .....

Look at eurusd, back to sleep.

Afterthoughts:
Wow so all that "bullish" efforts this week just got wiped off in one single NFP day, to close the week woth a real bearish candle formation, ah well what do i know about candle formations anyways... Only knew eurusd was gona go lower when a full bodied bear candle occured at the close of december...
But anyways 1.10 anyone??
Btw if anything about the NFP report, FED rate hike this year is highly possible woth wage rates beginning to rise,
I honestly dont see what people have been saying "disappointing" US Data last month or so... I mean where??
Oh btw for fed rate hike, still no change to my forecast of fed rate hike around april or june this year. A lot of banks have delayed their forecast to next year are being way too conservative, you will see them revise their forecast closer in the coming weeks.

I have this patience to extreme. Just one minor issue, I hold only wrong trades till the end, but otherwise it's just perfect.

Notes for future reference (been posted by some of the best traders to visit this site many many times)

Rule 1 Do not trade USD prs during NFP circus week
Rule 2 Do not trade USD prs during NFP circus main event

Really got to question any poster suggesting the opposite

attached this weeks trading daily chart (simple)

Pretty obvious what has happened, anyone buying or selling should have made green pips, not rocket science, as long as they chose the correct direction at the correct time, simple in retrospect but unbelievably difficult in real time.

Only congratulations is any poster who recommended Rule 1 and Rule 2, enjoy weekend

Very true.

I know almost everything about trading, even what you mentioned above, but I know very little about myself, almost nothing. Is there any rule for this?

Well, at least you are on the right way! Patience is there, now you just need to hold the winners. I have no patience for anything, get in get out fast...but that was funny when I was 18. Wait, thats a different thing.

The Gann Square of 9 important turning dates for EURUSD.
I'm not an expert on Gann, while it picked up on the 8 May 2014 reversal within the week, is it pointing to a reversal on 9 Feb 2015, that's next week?
But I'll pay attention when there's a confluence of Gann, Elliott and Fibonacci.

The weekly close candle looks bearish. I closed the 1375 trade along with the other 2 for profit. Am now short from .1428, we may trade this range for the next 2-3 weeks in my opinion. The greece bills are due end of February as most know..what some don't know is that the rest of the piigs are getting worse, with the swiss mortgage payments coming up, it should snow ball...us data may let us bounce around for the next few weeks but overall I'm sticking with bearish until I'm not. Oil I think had the biggest influence this last week on pushing the dollar down, inventories are rising still so we'll see what happens. Good weekend to all

I lose interest in any task that is simple and easy, especially when it needs to be done repeatedly, day in and day out. This is my nature.

I remember my bosses at the world's biggest professional accounting firm would think twice before giving anything to me for a review. You know why most people don't get trading? It is because they cannot differentiate between a logical and an illogical method, and two, they cannot consistently follow the method.

Yesterday, I was talking to a finance person that enjoys a very good position with a company and is considered a star. I was so disappointed at his approach and thinking that still cannot believe how people like him manage to get to such key positions. To give an idea, he was one of those people for whom there is a question in British ACCA finance. The question requires at what value (cost) you would record an inventory item if invoice is lost, but we know that this item was imported from Japan when Yen was 105 to a dollar, the importer paid 105,000 yen plus 30% freight plus 23% duties and normally sells the product at an average mark-up (profit over cost) of 25%. However, the vendor uses varying mark-up rates for different products, this 25% is the average. A person like that guy would take a calculator and would start calculating the estimated cost. The correct answer to this question in the answer book is that "Pick up the phone, call the vendor and ask for a duplicate invoice". Now I think, how a company would be able to pay to the vendor if they don't know the price at which they purchased the item or what about the monthly vendor balance statements that they receive or countless other practical things.

The whole point is that we make simple things way too complicated only because we cannot do boring work. Is EA a solution? I don't know. I never considered trading with the help of an EA.

It is not that I have doubt on many peoples capabilities here, but the only person that I believe mastered this skill here on FF is "stewartr" and his thread is titled "I want my trading to be boring".
