If Oil rally continues this week from where it left off on friday, then good chance of USDCAD to decline given that chinese data over the weekend was positive for AUD USD which is inversely correlated to USD CAD. 1.2587 next resistance.

BUY CADJPY

SELL USDCAD

OPEC is releasing important data on OIL tomorrow Feb9,2015 which would set the tone + given the Ukraine/Russia border tension it would be interesting play.

I love triangles. Longed above MAs at 1.248, looking for upside to channel top 1.26.
Break of triangle to the downside and I'm gonna close. Recovering oil will add CAD strength for now, not going to fight it.

The pair is likely to extend its decline towards 1.2400 support level. BoC Governor spreads pessimism for the CAD.

Closed at BE. Just realised resistance levels are pretty close, further downside has more wiggling space.

Well truth is that BoC lowered interest rates, coupled with weak oil.

Not sure what triangle you were looking at, but here's the one I was looking at. Obviously broke out higher (as expected) and now the trend continues.
