if we go back just a few short years. all/most the experts were saying, in the same breath "Greece would never leave and it would signal a break up of the ezmu". not my words. now they are saying Greece can leave and it will not break up the ezmu.
these people cant be trusted, they are bankers and politicians. they cant say the truth.. the ecb countries owes X... and will owe X+Greece+ others.. its not up to me, i am just a small minnow in the ocean. i am part of the market, the market is the ones needing convincing. i do remember things said. and in this day in age. the market has youtube, for the mentally challenged.

uff tough one to call.

 

  1. Well from a strictly weekly ATR point of view and considering the slope of the main trend it is within range so yes.

  1. From a technical point of view 1.116x its a hard level to get taken in one go so NFP must have a powerful overshoot to crack it with the news so again yes but with the right NFP numbers.
  2. From a short term and technical point of view i have my doubts for now for 3 reasons: 1. This last micro leg down from 1.142x was a KNEE JERK REACTION on air (nobody was trading these levels), 2. price left one level (actually 2 but the second is too minor to be important) open for a proper test at the highs 1.154x and 3. the roll held last intraday breakout point.

With tomorrow still in play (we can chat tomorrow to see how it close before NFP and revaluate) the map looks for a wide range play in NFP more than a clean sweep down. Meaning we can have a zigzag HH but LL move cleaning the board with NFP before the actual leg down with the main trend and therefore leaving 1.103x for the week after.

Greece was insignificant (€ wise) before, now is almost irrelevant... for me is a bit more simple as long as one of the big don't cough the euro will survive. The ones who are screwed without help are the one in troubles not the other way around.

More importantly Ireland is turning the page quite solid (in relative terms obviously), Spain hs bottomed and is slowly starting to show some minor signs of live... only Greece decided to keep playing hide and seek .... so if the other piigs start to float again ...Greece will become completely irrelevant for the EuroZone...

I see nice well done. I was rubbing my hands for a roll above 1.142x to ride to the highs. I thought it was done deal ...well let see tomorrow and we still have NFP this week.

EU recovered 200pips in less than 2 days this time.
Funny how market just can be irrational at times, but sticking to fundamentals at the end of the day pays you back. I thought ECB opposing Greek debt plan was a clear message

I see market movers found a reason , this reason made them choose - control - the next move in their direction , we can't expect every move but we can limit the risk , still new levels , update analysis . cheers

Yep , always a matter of time till the fundamentals come into or back into play. Eu is in trouble now, expecting a big down day based on bearish momentum. probably see 1.12 within 24h
