I use my system during news/events and I am profitable but I wanted to post question here because all traders are trading here on news.

Is there any condition after news where pending order is not executed even PA Cross it down?

Suppose I have Sell stop at 1.1430 and PA goes from 1.1450 to 1.1400 but pending order is not executed. Is there any condition develop like this?

Reason to ask this question is that I am running my system with profit during news/events so far but my pending orders play great role so I wanted advice from traders who trade during news.

if spread is big, ask price wont come down to trigger your pending
edit: oh u said short, well if u trade oanda they will skip the trade if your SL is inside spread to protect you and not have instand loss

They play as respectful and uptight educated and almost ''virgin'' and conscious girls. Don't attempt to show of or give them money! They will be extremely offended.

Get ready for the brain wash my friends.

Don't even offend them offering any type of cash. They will feel ''offended'' because they're precious and have ''values'' and deserve ''respect''

Very interesting system you guys have here. I really like the idea of taking advantage of the volatility news always brings. I also really like how you guys are using great R:R. I have a few questions for tony or any of the senior guys who trade this method well.

1. Are you guys always buying or always selling?

2. If not how do you decide your bias for the news or which direction to place the trade?

3. are there any tools you guys know of that measure the avg volatility generated by each news release?

4. I notice you listed 3 news releases you trade in the first post but it seems that you guys trade a few more than just those 3, I was wondering what are all the releases yall find generate enough volatility to trade?

5. do you ever straddle? for example with NFP last week. Buy EURUSD and buy USDJPY with the 1:5 RR or really 1:2.5 RR between the orders but no matter which way it goes as long as price moves enough profit is to be made.

How i see it, it seems that choosing to either always short, or always buy would be the best option since in the grand scheme of things the news releases are probably pretty balanced in the idea that in a year there were probably the same amount of bad releases as there were good releases so the R:R would just play out as time goes on since its 1:5+ and the direction news will go is 50/50.

Is this sound thinking or is it better to keep track of the news or sort of bet with the trend of the news releases(employments been going down all year, but it win continue to go down, etc)
