Depending on the below today GBP is pretty strong, can anyone confirm ?

Well, here's an update: I just got back from my little afternoon happy-hour and I see that my trade hasn't broken out of the purple Break-Out lines yet. I could have placed the break out lines closer together and made 30 pips by now, but I was busy relaxing, and I wasn't at my PC to set TP or TSL or TLX lines. Here's the picture. We'll see what happens in 10 hours when I wake up. Feel free to leave your comments.

I just re-watched the basket writer version 6 video, and at 34:20 seller says that the "start live trading" button has to be enabled (turn blue) for a break out trade. I thought a break out trade was like a manual trade? I understand turning the "R" for Robot off, to be safe when moving the BO lines, but I will wait and see if it takes trade when crossing the BO lines with "start live trading" turned off.

just had an awesome idea.

we have break out trades etc as buttons......what about a button for harmonic patterns....when turned on it looks for valid bat cypher gartley butterfly patterns and 1 2 1 and abcd on the charts...when it finds the fibs ratio it takes the trade.
patterns could show on charts as completeor emerging eg xabc. If this was possible wow

Yes, I see that now. But I had to know for sure. I guess this means I need to select "false" for "use entry 0 for entry" if I have "enter on HAS-X" selected.

In other-words, if I'm going to use the BO or PO buttons, I shouldn't have any other methods to open a trade selected, because they could activate and open a trade before the BO line is reached. A "buy" trade would have been opened after the second white candle above the HAS in the later part of the London session, hence, I would have had a 17-pip losing trade in there before the price action crossed the magenta (purple) BO line. And, because I had no TSL or other MM settings in place, my BO trade would have made 35 pips by the time I woke up to the smell of brewing coffee, just prior to the Tokyo open.

Seller was absolutely correct; that if we post our trade pictures when we set up our baskets, we can all learn from small mistakes an misunderstandings, when we put up the pictures and explanations of the end results. Is this time consuming? If you think so, how much does $17 + $35 extra pips (about $50) feel in your pocket?

The BO or PO trade when selected over rides the entry settings, that is why they are no longer shown on the screen.
If you want to use just HAS X you must set Entry0 = true and Entry0 selection to use HAS X to true.

If you are using BO or PO and also have an entry selected it will do the BO or PO first and then when that trade closes and if the robot is still looking for another trade it will then use what ever entry you have selected.

Thank you seller9, I appreciate the full clarification, which I needed ...as you answered my next question. I didn't want to be lazy and just ask, I wanted to demonstrate how you wish people would participate proactively as I will continue to do, and learn from doing. Now I am assured the PO and BO take priority and override the enrty settings, in my case Entry0 = true, and HASX to true.

No, winforex, the Holy Grail is not lost. In fact, I drank from it yesterday afternoon many times, and will repeat this ritual religiously everyday at my comfortable, peaceful, little wooden table under the coconut palm in the sunshine everyday until the Lord calls me home or my basket alert goes off on my Android, which ever happens first, ... but preferably the latter.

I coded it & yes off course I am willing to share it, it is just that I am trying to confirm the validity of signals before I do.

I am afraid that, if I share it now, people will just follow it blindly and I cannot be responsible for that...

What does grey color of water sign mean? Red water sign probably is oversold while green water sign one is overbought, right? thx

Hi well the "water sign" means ranging no trend (or supposed to mean )

it is based on ADX & that's what I am trying to tweak so far what I am using is

Colors

ADX < 15 => ranging blue color
ADX >= 15 & DI+ > DI- => Uptrend green color
ADX >= 15 & DI- > DI+ => Down trend red color

Arrows

ADX < 23 -> low trend (ranging water sign)
23 =< ADX < 28 -> medium strong trend (diagonal arrow up or down)
ADX >= 28 -> strong trend (up or down arrow)

so as you notice it could be
down trend color and ranging arrow (so weak down trend)
up trend color and ranging arrow (weak up trend)
ranging color and ranging arrow (no trend at all)

Ok i got more PM than I thought I would so here it is

N.B.: this is NOT a finished product don't use it on your live trading, I am open for any suggestions to get it better

Hi Seller9 (and the rest of the thread contributers),

I've been silently studying this thread for from top to bottom and left to right, on a daily basis (read all the 373 pages and counting)... and all I can say is...

MY HAT'S OFF TO YOU!

The tools you have created and the willingness to share knowledge (by you and a lot of others) is really incredible, and I hope that this spirit will continue for a long (and prosperous) time...
I hate "push button" solutions, because I think they don't work (or maybe they do in the minds of the lazy) so the BT EA is just right. Everyone has to do their homework for picking the best currency baskets (although you already help a lot with Basket Writer) and then the robot does all the manual work.
The setup options are nearly endless and very, very effective... it's just an awesome piece of software. Congratulations for the fantastic acheivement!

And don't fall for all the "add this feature, add that indicator" to the EA otherwise you'll be running away from your KISS moto... and you'll have your hands full with support requests.

Now I just hope I can learn enough from you, and others like SMK, Kopra and many others so that I can also contribute positively to this thread.
