Guess we're meaning short term opportunities, the algos kinda make it their purpose to take those away. Smooth breakouts on hourly charts seem to have totally gone away

the Smooth trends happens to be in longer term charts, where fundamentals are driving the consistent trends, which makes sense as a trending forex market should mean divergences in 2 economy or 2 central banks.

Exactly, talking about 5 min timeframe in my case. Thatīs where my systems have been working on well since 1999. Just since 2014 January this has changed a lot. I am not whining, the market is always changing and I need to adapt (which works, just with much less trades than before), just saying that my analysis is the same: more algos are trading nowadays and thatīs very noticeable. Itīs though not to except different, giving each one has access to a computer and to Forex and even to high-speed connections nowadays.

Today was literally the first clean break ive seen on EUR in several months, Im not discounting that because Id been waiting for the range to breakout and took the trade. However, I made it my style to trade these very types of moves which have become increasingly rare recently

watch out... clean break needs a confirmation candle... we need to have a candle that goes back down to test the broken trend line..... if we reject it then yes its confirmed broken..... watch how this week's candle is gona close.

when FA & TA align, the market is crystal clear, trend traders should of had their best year ever

However I believe manipulation is totally out of control, has been since 2008, yuan yen, chf, cad$ etc with king of manipulated trollops EURO

add in bastard brokers, and you have a very very uneven playing field, I wouldnt suggest anyone start forex trading, would be wiser to grab a bottle of Jim Beam and watch the circus from the sideline

I just mean a clean break as in this morning the level was 1.1360, if price trades thru the level and continues higher Id say its a 'clean break" Thats all I mean, I very often get situations now where stops are run, price whipsaws up and down thru the level etc.

well better way of putting it. if you are a first time trader. dont expect to start a forex account with 100 usd and expect to get it up to 1000 usd in a day..... thats just gambling....
