Indeed and looking at current m5 supply reactions its flipping them already, so this move could have break right now as long as 347 shelf holds.

If you think its going to go down and want to maximize the profit potential and limit risk to a small amount, then simply buy a PUT. No stop runs, limited risk, limitless profit potential. For me, the best way to play EUR/USD this year is with options, and a PUT I have just bought is 1.1000 with a 18th March expiry. So the spot market players can do as they please, undergo the stop runs and guessing which way it goes.

Even though 1350+ is a good place to short, there is no point to rush into anything...let the price settle, wait for the daily close and then entries will seem more clear for tomorrow. We might close the day bullish and get an asian spike, so why not wait and short from higher, nothing to lose. Let the suckers lose money now and enter later.
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

That's it past 11360. Looking on the hourly chart it seems to be a band of resistance around 1350-1370 with at least two attempts since Friday.

I'm going to keep an eye on the hourly chart and see how the candle closes. Currently its right at the top of my Bollinger band and the Stochastic suggests there might be a little more up to come. I think a short might be in order on the next candle or two.

Agreed. the western yen pairs (gbp/jpy, usd/jpy) also look erratic, and given that their prices are inversely related, I'm opting on the sidelines right now.

But seriously, why is the price so hesitant? We don't have the major news for USD until Friday, so shouldn't we try to aim for recent highs/lows?

Stops/pause in every situation that looks like a good short entry point -> collecting shorts imo. A lot lot lot....but I stop favourizing long side...a slap can come anytime. (even a break out (up) can be a false one)

GJ and UJ dont have inversly related price, if thats what you meant to say. They move like western cowboys, somethimes together and other times not, depending on each currency drive, JPY especially.

I am thinking to place buy stop on 365 this should swipe up 20 maybe more if it wants to break, draging this whole forum down

what about short around 1.1382-1.1393 area with stop just above 1.1401 or after a sharp spike.
