I am ignoring CHF until it settles down better.

On the YEN I am bit skeptic about it. UJ, technically the pullback is not confirmed yet and in the other hand last break out point is way out of range for a quick move down without some fundamental/BOJ move. In my books there is one more leg up in yen before calling a major multiyear high but the pullback is too far so we are trading air.

Yes we can say the UJ looks a bit dollar bearish short term but is not in a trustworthy area for my taste.

Profit taking in equities after that unstoppable rally for the close. Nothing major so far but a natural PT. Equities in all indexes look VERY bullish with the close for the mid term and all major markets have opened major extension to unimaginable levels for the mid and long run.

For the impact in dollar, will need to see how far US equities decide to pullback after the rally to see any major impact in the dollar and given the fundamentals and technical I don't expect too much from the US and from Europe with virgin QE, trashing the euro and swapping cash to equities looks like a non brainer for the next few months...

And finally currencies rolling ....

No surprises in the euro in a comatose week and day we are closing in the only area in play the whole week 1.127x. Wrapping in it up daily and weekly held 1.127x that now looks very tired and its basically just a weak reference for next week. More importantly Monthly held 1.120x opening a mini relieve in the strong slope in the euro downtrend.

Got al my levels for the next few swings in most currency markets, in some even more than that for mid term swings (oil) and for a minority like in equities and Yen nothing new ...gl all for the next few months ...

Hi Rockerzeus, didn't know that. But then, why are there differences between MT4 data on different brokers regarding historical charts? I mean, I had no problems with Alpari UK, they seemed to be accurate but for example, EU "only" went to 1993 (prior to the actual printed money, which means they were also historical charts and I actually had to download them). Oanda's historical charts go as far as 1974 (UJ goes to 1971). If all historical charts came from the same provider, they should be equal and have the same past years and also the same numbers on them.

not bullish to me in the month or this week with this NY close under London. week to week this close was above 1276, so a bounce will probably be limited.. more likely a wtf week with this close, where both ends of last weeks candle may get a visit. and with a Greek wildcard, in a downtrend. 1689 is mid month.. have a good weekend

Hi Goodvalley,
As far as I know when you want to download from History Center you got warning related with this issue to proceed. If you did it before with other brokers they may have same time zone data with Metaquotes. O anda is GMT -5 may be that's why your charts not correctly show data.

I suspect something like that, I think someone said something about Oanda's 4H adjustments being wrong. Anyway, I have to find something reliable with good historicals that match reality, now that Alpari UK is gone. Gator suggested Citi, but they don't offer those historicals as far as I can see.

Yes they have limited data. I do not have problem with h4 on O anda. May be you should revert to their data to see candles correctly
