Expecting 1.1207 to get hit in the next 12-24hr as H4 momentum is very bearish and FOMC is out of the way while EUR still weak and strongest trend. We should technically be expecting a new low soon, whether that holds or not is to be seen. But for today i TP 1.1207. Hopefully get that and then look for more short opps higher.
There is a possibility of a rally back up to the mid 1.13's , I assume it would be sold off and would like to sell more there if so. Good luck grasshoppers.

i am looking for 1.1119 , yes h4 finally turned ; 1.03 is my longer term outlook

Probably later tonight. We could make new lows this week, I mean this is the strongest trend for the most part maybe the exception is USD/CAD right now... but we've been making new lows over and over and there's no reason think that won't continue... unless this one doesn't end up making new lows then we can go sideways for a bit i guess until going lower, which i think there's a distinct possibility of going sideways from 1.1-1.15 for few months, before crashing lower. But most likely will just continue to plunge to new lows and maybe even hit 1.0-1.05 later this yr.

USDJPY Flat for the time being.
still status quo for USD, interest rate hike has not moved forward nor delayed further. so no rise or fall in USD.
JPY is at Status Quo, last week JPY was bought up because of uncertainty with greek votes, ecb easing and all those issues.

but BOJ is well known to only take action when something starts to hurt.....dont be surprised if USDJPY goes down to 110 before BOJ takes action.

so needless to say. the direction of USDJPY atm is flat between 116-119

Out of curiosity, Tyrant, do you trade any exotic/non major pairs, such as the Thai baht, Russian ruble, etc? I'm been trying to move out of my usual majors (NZD, JPY, GBP, USD, EUR), but the sheer volatility of some of these pairs leave me at a loss for words.

Actually, let me rephrase the question: Can a retail trader bereft of institutional affiliations trade exotic pairs (successfully)?

i would avoid exotic pairs. the lack of news/media coverage on these exotic pairs means you have to be an actual professional dealing with corporates on who uses these currencies.
i'd advise not to trade exotics.
exotic currency central banks can change their policy overnight and no body would blink an eye....
so it can scare people away....
