if you are trading H1, stay clear of FOMC candle or stay out completely until the event is over.

Thank you so much! Yes, your comments rang true today at 12pm PST. I didn't collect any pips since not in the market. Others probably though. Some beautiful intraday moves for AU and AJ, and other pairs.

Trading the Inside Bar(s).

Inside Bar IB are small candles which is seen as price contraction or consolidation.
One example is to use IB and trade the breakout of the Mother Bar of that IB.
Double IBs are very good setups to trade when we observe the price action of the trading TF and also the higher TFs.

Below is an example how IBs are use in scalping after news events.
Wait for that news event candle to close and trade when there is still price momentum and follow the flow.

Practice this, look at other pairs on M15 and look at the FOMC H1 candle, what is that range of the FOMC candle in relation to the ADR. Very rare you see a H1 FOMC candle exceed its 10 and 20 days ADR

By the time news are coming out of hot anchors on cnbc they're as helpful as a blindfolded monkey throwing darts on a buy/sell dartboard. German economy is on its knees and the dax is soaring through monopoly toilet paper money Draghi pulled out of his hat the other week. This is the world we live in, where $800bn in imaginary debt money is used to buy more imaginary state debt to encourage citizens to get into real debt.

EURAUD and GBPAUD 29 Jan Intraday:

yesterday we saw Aussie rallied in the Asian session and that drag EA and GA lower but it pulled back after FOMC.
Looking at D charts for these 2 pairs the TDI is UP. So we look for buy setups today.
We are at month end shadow trading.

Hi ZeF,

Try this:
H1 trading.
Entry with SL=50pips, TP=50pips.
Exit half position at +25pips, keep the SL at -50pips.
Wait to see if TP get hit.
If TP get hit, you get half position +50pips, plus the other half +25pips.
If market reverse and hit your SL(-50pips), then you lose 50pips but the earlier half position +25pips will reduce the overall loss to -25pips.

Worst case scenario, market did not move in your favour and reverses before 25pips , you get hit -50pips total.

Could you please upload the time frame indicator you're using for M15 M30 H1 H4 to MN1 etc which is on your top right corner? I have only the big H1 H4 D1 one.
