As the release of minutes of FED meeting looms, it is expected we see USD strenghtening across the board. I anticipate that today's consumer data which was that good and last seen in 2007(consumers are 2/3 of the economy) will fuel rally, especially given how UJ bulls are fond of FOMC.

markets in red (DJ, S&P), US10y yields under 1.8 in deep red, DXY in red.. there's need for only one catalyst, maybe rate hike postponing or whatever and UJ will drop like a rock. even nikkei which ended positive 1.72% isn't helping much. the uptrend looks exhausted and it need a rest, UJ doesn't have the strength from the young days. only very positive statement tomorrow from FOMC about rates or economy could keep the rally alive..which I doubt but who knows.

Some are. Dunno what you call medium term though, it is personal. Think we have like 2-3 months to finish top.

I agree we will fall soon but I think not before a retest of 119.. and this 117.75/80 level was so annoying so far that as long as price is above it I stay bullish anyway. Weeks ago if someone would just buy or sell blindly at 117.75 he would make money both ways.. I am waiting for the day where we never see this level again (at least for months if possible)... oh not to forget I hate triangles.. wedges.. flags and everything related with pauses or retracements or waiting periods.. aarrrggggg

If I may say, I think it needs to test the 61.8% level of 116.99 before it breaks this triangle. I have pending buys there and won't budge until it gets hit.

but after such period done, it will have big move (either up or down), and hopefully we are in time to ride in
